1.3 gigabytes. That's how much information was just unloaded for our bedazzled eyes to behold pertaining to Nintendo's 1980s feud with Universal over Donkey Kong. It's hard to imagine these days, what with Mario's pair of blockbuster pics, but there was a time when the movie-making company was livid over what it viewed as copyright infringement regarding gaming's most iconic ape. Nintendo ultimately prevailed, and there have been myriad great games ever since, including last year's extraordinary Donkey Kong Bananza.

Renowned content creator The Gaming Historian, who has revealed that he's closing down his beloved channel, broke the news alongside one heck of a farewell present: that aforementioned 1.3 gigabytes of court data.
