The remasters of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater from the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection have finally received mouse and keyboard support, over a year out from release.

Version 2.0.0, the version title for both games, makes several improvements to both games. Settings that allow you to change the game's resolution, which wasn't available in either title, have now been added to both.

You'll be able to use the original preset, which is what people have been using over the past year, an adjusted preset that uses your monitor's highest resolution or a custom preset which allows you to tweak the resolution more finely. This was a highly-requested feature, especially for those with higher-resolution monitors. Interestingly, you won't be able to change your resolution after starting the game because of stability issues.

Finally, there's going to be mouse-and-keyboard support for the remasters, with both titles previously only supporting controllers. You'll be able to rebind your controls in the menu as well. Along with resolution, this was another feature the MGS community was crying out for.
