As only the first entry in Supermassive Games' new anthology series, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan offers a very replayable experience that is a lot of fun both in single player and with friends, leaving us very excited to see what they have in store for future entries yet to come.

Control is definitely Remedy's best game since Alan Wake.  The sheer variety in the gameplay and fantastic presentation go a long way in making this an enjoyable experience.

Ancestors is likely going to be a polarizing game, but it's something so out of the ordinary than what you've come accustomed to in either the survival or third person open world genre, that it's worth a look.

Rad is about what you expect from the modern rogue-like game in terms of features and structure.  If you dig the 80's aesthetic, or rogue-likes in general, there's a game that you can sink many hours into here.

Madden 20 does very little in this year's game to impress, but it doesn't do anything that truly disappoints.  What it offers is a competent and refined football experience with a stellar presentation and plenty of modes to play.

If you are, looking for a straight forward co-op shooter with plenty of customization and collectibles, you might enjoy the game with friends or random online players. Solo players should probably avoid this one though.

The thing that I kept saying to myself when playing Ultimate Alliance 3 is that if this wasn't a Marvel game with such beloved characters and familiar story lines it would be a bad game.  A great coat of paint does raise the average for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, but its roots are a rote beat 'em up that shows off all its tricks in the first couple of hours and wears out its welcome well before the credits roll.

If you like the building, crafting, and collecting aspects of something like Minecraft, but wanted a little more structure, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is an easy recommendation whether you're a Dragon Quest fan or not.

While Kay's emotional journey of self-discovery does not pull punches as she learns why she has become a lonely monster, Sea of Solitude struggles to stay afloat at times due to unimaginative gameplay that struggles to evolve beyond the opening moments of the game.

Heavy Rain was quite the unique release in 2010 and is still worth a look for genre fans. This PC re-release improves a lot of things about that original experience, but doesn't go as far as it could in some respects.

Super Neptunia RPG is a diamond in the rough. It has the potential to be the best spin-off to date, but is so marred by gameplay issues and bugs that its successes are often overshadowed. Unless you're in love with Neptunia, then I'd suggest waiting for a patch. Hell, wait anyway.

Despite some shortcomings, Samurai Shodown doesn't disappoint. Its slow pace belies a depth that rivals any fighting game, while still providing an experience unlike almost any other. If the stunning visuals don't leave you breathless, then the unrelenting tension felt during combat certainly will.

Not just a 1 to 1 remake like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled comes with the content you love from the original as well as additional tracks from a later entry in the series as well, proving that everybody's favorite Bandicoot still has plenty of gas in the tank.
