I can't speak about replayability because you're not going to uninstall it anytime soon. People are going to play it over and over again, with no end in sight. Surprisingly, the goal of Forza Motorsport 7 is not to win but to get credits to buy cars. If you don't mind the presence of microtransactions, and you convince yourself that you can grind away for credits, you're going to love Forza Motorsport 7.
I can't recommend it enough, and I urge everyone to give it a try because it's the kind of title that can provide a lot of fun, even if you are a fan of other similar football sims. And you can't get better praise than that.
First and foremost, Destiny 2 does not frustrate players by placing parts of the end game under hard to achieve power level requirements. There's plenty of loot to gain and, more importantly, you're actually having fun while obtaining it.
I just hope that we won't have to wait too long for another Uncharted game comes out, though I have the feeling that Naughty Dog has a couple of aces under the sleeve, which will probably make us forget that there was once a treasure hunter by the name of Nathan Drake.
All in all, I can't understand the point of StarCraft: Remastered. I see that it's much prettier, and people with high-res displays will be able to run it in all its glory. The problem is that there is no real glory, and the one that's left exists only in the minds of the people that played the original. It's not a particularly bad remastering of a cult game, but it's almost futile.
With each new Hearthstone expansion, Blizzard has outdone itself, and Knights of the Frozen Throne is no exception to the rule. I can't wait to see what's next for Hearthstone and its very strong community.
Steel Division: Normandy 44 will challenge players in a way that's not achieved by other titles. It might not have the brightest AI or the most balanced multiplayer, but it's more than enough to reveal an important fact. We haven't been playing strategy games before; they were just some hollow mock-ups.
Tekken 7 is here and I can only imagine it getting better. What's even more exciting is that it gave me and most of the other players, a new reason to memorize gamepad combinations, and to find new ways to humiliate our friends. And I know that I can't ask for anything more than that.
It might not be the best fighting game out there, but Injustice 2 is definitely the most solid among them thanks to the amount of the content it offers for single player and online experiences.
The flexibility that most of the cards in the new expansion offer when building a new deck surpasses everything that's been done in Hearthstone since the launch of the game. A word of advice before I go have some fund with my deathrattle priest deck: try not to craft too many legendary cards until the metagame is fine tuned.
I, for one, am going back to Andromeda, fighting the Kett and the Remnant, and I'm going to enjoy every second of it.
Nevertheless, the story and combat mechanics makes up for anything faulty, so I can't recommend it enough to those who love JRPG games. Finally, a game where playing the villain feels kind of … right.
The game has its moments and it's a title that must not be missed by those who love action-adventure games. The fact that it lacks the major technical issues of the predecessor is also a big plus.
Moon Studios has not yet announced future plans, but the fact that they worked with Microsoft to create and launch the Definitive Edition for their first title means that gamers should be excited about their future projects.
The Banner Saga 2 is a great purchase for all those who love complex storytelling or turn-based battles, and I cannot wait to see how Stoic Games tweak the formula of the game in the final title of the trilogy.
Insomniac Games has done a great job of taking the best elements of the original while upgrading both the gameplay and the graphics in order to appeal to modern players.
The Paradox title remains one of the most engaging strategy experiences of the moment, the kind of video game that can occupy hundreds of hours of playtime and can drive gamers to become interested in real-world history linked to the countries that they choose to lead in the video game.
The company would do well to deliver both Pack 2 and Pack 3 of the Nova Covert Ops for Starcraft 2 at the same time, even if players have to wait a little longer for it, and to also find interesting ways to tweak the mechanics of the franchise to make the missions unique and solid enough to support a new major storyline.
This is a game centered around learning, and even if the teacher can sometimes be punishing in its approach, I like encountering the challenges that From Software has created and then working through them, even if it takes time, tears and frustration, because there's no better feeling than to see a boss falling, cheer and then prepare for the future knowing that the next one will be even harder to deal with.
Ska Studios clearly loves Dark Souls and Salt and Sanctuary is a very effective love letter that can appeal both to long-term fans of that series and to players who simply want to feel challenge in a world that's filled with mystery and clever opponents.
