West of Dead adds enough new elements to an overdone genre to keep things interesting and the visual design is truly stunning. If it had more to offer in terms of exploration and map size along with some more enemies to shoot, this would be even better.
Bright, colourful and completely insane. No Straight Roads is like nothing I have played in recent memory and I enjoyed my time with it. It may be a bit much for some and at times it has a few performance issues but overall if you are into weird games, brawlers or rhythm games, give it a shot you might like it. Let's rock!
Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars will not threaten any of the giants of the turn-based strategy games but for console players, it offers an accessible alternative with a fun dark fantasy twist.
Ever Forward is a satisfying and pretty puzzle game, with a compelling narrative. However it suffers with being a bit too frustrating at times when the precision required is made difficult with clunky controls.

Double Kick Heroes is an explosive action rhythm-based game filled with original and licensed metal music to enjoy. Take on an active role of driving and shooting with the Gundillac, and double kicking your way through each epic song. Tour with your bandmates, kill the undead, and journey into hell itself. Feast on all that is metal, with over the top violence, foul language, and insane metal music, all with satirical wit. You really won't find any other game quite like this. Get out there and SHRED!!!
This game is a bit of a mixed bag, whilst a lot of thought has gone into the mechanics and non-traditional choices surrounding the combat, it can feel very flat at times.
Parkasaurus is the type of game where you're never wondering what you should be doing, but never overwhelmed by the number of tasks. Coupled with the colourful graphics and the fact it doesn't take itself too seriously, this is a wonderful version of a park management game.
Our hope right now is that Asobo and Microsoft manage to improve performance for those of us on lesser rigs and that a patch is forthcoming to help boost the frame rate a little. I can appreciate the game at less than 20fps in low settings but I would love to be truly blown away by it.
If you are an old of point and click adventures then you will find a lot to of charm and enjoyment in Darkestville Castle. Just don't expect the second coming of Monkey Island.
A rich story, perfect graphical elements, and frustratingly challenging puzzles make There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension a thoroughly worthwhile game.
