PC Invasion's Reviews

7 / 10 - Victoria 3
Oct 24, 2022

Victoria 3 is, without a doubt, grand in scale and scope, and it's downright gorgeous, too. Sadly, the countless mechanics mean that there are too many moving parts, which lead to more questions than answers. The automation and streamlining of battle is, likewise, a baffling change. 8 / 10 - Lost Eidolons
Oct 20, 2022

It's hard not to respect and get swept up in the ambition of Lost Eidolons, where even the flaws and mediocre presentation is made worthwhile with some competent, classic SRPG gameplay.

Scorn really brings the art that inspired to 3D life, meshes it with good music, and presents it on a stable platform. But the mundane puzzles and poor combat drag it down.

Potionomics combines genres to produce a deck-building game that never get old. It sometimes feels overwhelming, but the end product is satisfying enough to keep you hooked.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway won't wow the pants off of anyone, but it's an enjoyable kart racer all the same.

A lack of challenge and some underwhelming PC options can't stop Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 from being one hell of an entertaining action game, provided you like warping through levels without touching the ground.

8 / 10 - Trifox
Oct 13, 2022

Trifox is colorful and humorous with a minimal story, but a surprisingly full gameplay experience. While I had some issues with the mechanics, the game still manages to be a solid 3D platformer and twin-stick shooter.

On one hand, I love some of Kamiwaza's elements including the thievery and 'just stealth' system. But the game is sabotaged by a lack of clarity and a lack of proper quality-of-life changes.

Trails From Zero is a wonderful game that offers the very best story telling and world building that gaming has to offer. Its presentation and dialogue heavy gameplay won't be for everyone, but if you love a good story and are looking to get immersed in a brilliant world, look no further.
