4.4 / 5.0 - Yupitergrad

It's quite a bit of fun and certainly a nice game to play with the freedom of the Quest 2. It's a decent price for what you get, it might not take you too long to get through (depending on your dexterity/coordination of tools etc) but the fun of swinging through the halls is fun whether you are looking to complete a task or not.

Nioh 2 is an fast, frantic and fluid action-RPG experience that will appeal to fans of Code Vein, Dark Souls and Sekiro for its intricate combat and role-playing systems, extensive character customisation and striking historic fantasy Japanese setting. While the storytelling for the main narrative mostly falls flat and is confusing to follow, the rest of the package more than holds up against its predecessor. The game presents a great challenge for those willing to put in the time to master its numerous playstyles it caters, so it might not be a great fit for those seeking a more casual adventure.

If you missed this game on the previous consoles, now is the perfect time to buy as it contains everything plus RTX and more importantly, it is a fantastic story that draws you in and drives you on. If you are a fan of The X-Files or similar genre shows, material… I have no doubt you will enjoy this.

Done right, VR can really immerse a player into other worlds and stories. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is an impressive example of what can be done.

All in all, I enjoyed my time with the game almost more than I did with the first. The sequel really makes you think about this strange world where everyone's a monster except these kids who've been stripped of their innocent due to their unjust and cruel fate. I also can't help but think of what other characters other than Mono and Six may be out there fighting their own battles, so I really hope we get to see more of this hauntingly beautiful world Tarsier Studios has brought to life.  So if you're a fan of the first game or even have a mild interest in the series, I can't recommend both games enough.

What "The Pillar: Puzzle Escape" lacks in length, it makes up for in creativity and easily a fun experience for younger gamers. Players will get to explore a unique open world map as they search for clues and complete simple puzzles to progress to the next level. Older players won't find any real value in this game and are better off investing their time in something a bit more challenging. However, parents who want to help their children's creative problem solving and memory skills should look into this game as an educational and development tool to stimulate young minds.

4.3 / 5.0 - Blue Fire
Feb 7, 2021

Overall, these impairments do not prevent Blue Fire from being a tremendously satisfying experience. Regardless of how tough the platforming can be, I savored every moment in this world. Even after dying dozens of times, I was still motivated to progress to see what new kinds of wonders awaited me if I could just make it to the next platform. The amount of mystery, content, and challenge ROBI Studios packs into a $20 package is quite impressive and left me hungry for more even after the game's conclusion. Blue Fire emulates the successes of definitive 2D and 3D games and is perfect for anyone with an appetite for a stimulating platformer or action-adventure complete with a gorgeous and enthralling world to explore.

4 / 5.0 - The Medium
Feb 1, 2021

The Medium boasts an engaging narrative plus clever gaming dynamics and while it starts slow, the ending builds to an impressive crescendo of unexpected surprises. So if you like to be surprised, don't keep reading the reviews or watching Youtube videos because this is one game that must be experienced without coming in with any prior knowledge as you twist your way through of both the land of the living and… the dead!

4.4 / 5.0 - Robo Recall
Jan 30, 2021

Robo Recall is a right good time. With enough of that gamer humor to give you a smile. Just enough challenge on levels to keep it interesting.  I can suggest checking this game out because I still fire it up and play to this day. Truly Marvelous.

Sword of the Necromancer is a gem of a game. While visually it can look a little repetitive, the game is honestly a ton of fun. I think this one may be a game people remember for a long time.

3.5 / 5.0 - MXGP 2020
Jan 26, 2021

MXGP 2020 The Official Motocross Videogame is not a next-gen experience on the PlayStation 5 but more a port but if you're a fan of motocross, then you've come to the right place. Sure, it does need a bit more of a shine here and there but it does create the illusion of riding an off road motorbike, particularly with its streamlined controls and clever use of hapctics.

3.5 / 5.0 - Marvel's Avengers
Jan 13, 2021

Marvel's Avengers seems uncomfortable with itself. The single player campaign is charming and only lags in the areas that feature dull loot collecting sections. The post-game features fun combat in a co-op setting but can be a genuine drag to slog through. Overall the game is lacking a sense of life and variety to compliment the fun combat. It's a shame because playing as the Avengers is a delightful experience, with each hero having its own endearing play quirks. Perhaps future updates will nail the balance, but right now it's not quite worthy of lifting Thors Hammer.

While I enjoyed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the gameplay for the most part was quite fluid, including the combat, however the story which does have some totally cool moments did at times feel a little, well… err… forced at times like a group of people were throwing ideas and concepts around a boardroom. Even so, it is the single-player game that many Star Wars fans wanted and developers Respawn should be commended on successfully revitalizing the franchise again and let's hope this becomes a yearly event. Just be warned that the gameplay can be a little repetitive but hopefully the Star Wars branding will keep you invested from start to finish.

Probably the safest entry in the series of late, it's fairly safe to say that if you like Call of Duty games then you'll most likely enjoy what Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has to offer.
