6 / 10.0 - Rack N Ruin
May 23, 2015

Rack N Ruin is the very definition of a "mixed bag". It sports gorgeous visuals and an appealing premise, but is bogged down by its uninspired, repetitive combat, boring puzzle sequences and an overall lack of polish. If you're aching for a modern adventure that pulls from the great titles of the past, you might want to take a quick look, but if entertaining and enjoyable quests are more your thing, this might not be your cup of tea.

5.5 / 10.0 - Color Guardians
May 22, 2015

If you are looking for a challenge, Color Guardians will have your back but if are looking for a fun and interesting title, you will probably have to look elsewhere.

8 / 10.0 - Nom Nom Galaxy
May 19, 2015

Nom Nom Galaxy is a fun, charming and highly addictive management-sim that manages to keep you engaged thanks to an appealing aesthetic design and some clever game modes, despite suffering from minor quirks that can occasionally lessen its enjoyment.

8 / 10.0 - ETHER One
May 11, 2015

Ether One is a mesmerizing experience that is bogged down by some questionable design choices and a general lack of direction. If you can see past these minor imperfections, you'll find that at its core lies a deep psychological study of the human brain, wrapped in a fantastic story that keeps you guessing throughout. It's a topic not common in your everyday AAA title, and for that it must be commended.

7.5 / 10.0 - Tropico 5
May 2, 2015

If you already own Tropico 5 then the lack of new content means that there is little reason to purchase the title again but if you a newcomer and are looking for an enjoyable RTS game on the PS4, look no further than Tropico 5.

8.5 / 10.0 - BRAWL
May 1, 2015

Brawl has all the elements a Bomberman fan could possibly want: fun, addictive gameplay, a great multiplayer mode, and tons of unlockable stages and characters. It may suffer from some tone issues during the course of its story mode, and gameplay may end up feeling a bit repetitive, but this is some of the most fun you can have on the PS4 at the moment.

With an interesting rhythm-based gameplay mechanic and innovative gameplay that works perfectly with the brilliantly-engineered soundtrack, Crypt of the Necrodancer is the best roguelike I've played so far this year.

8.3 / 10.0 - Broken Age
Apr 27, 2015

Technical issues aside, Broken Age is a wonderful point-and-click adventure which, while not for everyone, will definitely please fans of the genre; the great story, fun characters and unique setting all combine to create a very memorable experience which is well worth the price of admission.

8 / 10.0 - Ziggurat
Apr 27, 2015

Ziggurat proves to be a breath of fresh air in the roguelike genre. While it does rely on several key conventions, it manages to provide enough new features so as to appeal to a wide range of players. Framerate and difficulty problems aside, this is an adventure that fans of exploration and fantasy will not want to miss.

9 / 10.0 - Shovel Knight
Apr 26, 2015

Shovel Knight easily cements itself as one of the best titles available on the PS Vita and considering the calibre of the PS Vita's library, that is no small feat.

The Charnel House Trilogy is a cheap point and click adventure game that successfully tells a dark and engrossing tale. In spite of its faults, this is a game that'll leave you genuinely chilled.

6.2 / 10.0 - Convoy
Apr 21, 2015

Convoy is a fun game, and the seemingly endless number of missions will entertain you for hours. However, it's difficult to overlook the repetitive fighting scenes, and the unsubstantial upgrades that you can buy from the shop. Also, for a game focused around building a powerful convoy, the customization is fairly poor.

7.8 / 10.0 - Teslagrad
Apr 19, 2015

Teslagrad is a unique game, cleverly telling a thought-provoking story without any dialogue or verbal narrative, supported by beautiful aesthetics. If the game had been trusted to tell its tale, supported by the clever electromagnetic puzzles, then it would have been a truly excellent game. Unfortunately, the frustrating platforming sections and incongruously punishing boss battles slightly mar the experience and hold Teslagrad back from true greatness.

8 / 10.0 - Elliot Quest
Apr 18, 2015

Elliot Quest is a great homage to the classic 8-bit era that inspired it. The game is visually impressive, boasts a catchy, enjoyable soundtrack and features hours upon hours of replayability. However the best thing about this game also happens to be the worst; it definitely doesn't hold your hand. While it is very easy to get lost on your journey across the island the game provides a great challenge that'll keep players entertained for a long time.

6 / 10.0 - Aaru's Awakening
Apr 17, 2015

Aaru's Awakening is a great example of how looks can deceive. Its gorgeous world and beautifully detailed environments are absolutely breathtaking, but the core gameplay that lies within leaves much to be desired.

7.5 / 10.0 - StarDrive 2
Apr 17, 2015

StarDrive 2 successfully manages to create an in-depth but not overwhelming empire management game with high levels of customization and respectable space combat. It may get some things wrong, such as the turn based ground combat, but it is certainly a game any self-respecting 4X player should look at.
