Olija might not be long and might not have the most interesting combat, but the story and style of the game make it worth playing.
Bonkies offers families and friends a hilarious way of playing together through intense cooperation set in the vast unexplored unknown of space. The relaxing background music adds to the overall light-hearted nature of the game, but that's not to say you can take it easy. You'd better be ready to get your act together and use your hand-eye coordination like your life depended on it-because when it comes to space construction, there's definitely no monkeying around.
The Medium presents intelligent horror and innovative gameplay inspired by Silent Hill, but far overstays its welcome and fails to provide closure. The split screen mechanics work wonders for new kinds of puzzles, but a myriad of technical issues hinder immersion.
Atelier Ryza 2 is an excellent entry in an item-crafting focused JRPG series. It improves on its predecessor via quality-of-life improvements, more in-depth character interactions and a sprawling story. Plus, it's absolutely adorable!
A glorious love letter to retro ninja action, Cyber Shadow is a must for fans of high-speed fun and delicious 1990s cheesy camp.
Crossword City Chronicles is a fairy lazy mobile port which pairs repetitive puzzles with lackluster dialogue, "mysteries" which are solved for you, and grind-based mechanics
Call of the Sea is a visually stunning game offering a compelling story hidden behind a mixed bag of puzzles and a few frustrating pacing decisions.
Hitman 3 may not introduce much to the established Hitman formula, but it messes with that formula in unique and confident ways with varied and interesting locations that make this the best of the Hitman trilogy.
Strong visuals and unique gameplay can't save Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne. Only fans will be able to stick it out till the end.
When it isn't going through the motions with its main story, Ocean's Heart is an imaginative retro adventure worth your time.
Watch Me Stream My Mental Breakdown is great fun for a couple of hours or so. The casual nature almost made me wish I could play it on my phone every so often, if only really for the card game. Still, it's a nice break from the more demanding games out there today, especially if you're looking for something new.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is a delight. Despite some bullet sponge-y enemies, the varied combat and surprisingly engaging story make each run a joy.
Bursting at the seams with charm, Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game makes a welcome return with the Complete Edition, further polishing an already brilliant title and bringing it to a new audience
Sunlight is an aesthetically beautiful game which does not take full advantage of its beautiful environment. The stunning visuals and audio make the short playtime and lack of true exploration elements somewhat disappointing.
A wonderfully crafted follow-up to a fantastic first game, Evermore doesn't have the same emotional highs and lows but is fun, filler-y goodness for those looking to return to the world of Cinderella Phenomenon.
S.U.M. - Slay Uncool Monsters has some good ideas, but is far too basic and unwilling to grow for the huge amount of content it has.
Super Meat Boy Forever is a decent enough game when considered on its own merits. Compared to the original, however, it's hard not to find this auto-running sequel disappointing. The platforming element has been neglected in favour of slicker visuals and user-friendliness.
Don't Be Afraid is a great psychological thriller game that will put you up against formidable enemies in terrifying locations. Though at times the game can be a bit glitchy and the pacing can feel off, Hydra Games did a great job of creating an immersive world for you to explore with memorable characters.
Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister tries to strike on many occasions but never quite lands. Its gun-play is as enjoyable as a shooter should be but it doesn't offer anything you can't get better elsewhere
Override 2: Super Mech League has very unique mechanics and fun combat, but needs to be rebalanced to be more competitive.
