Thrilling at first for Star Trek faithful, but lacks the depth for long-term engagement
The cat-and-mouse gameplay is exciting and captures classic horror-movie moments – when the game actually works, which isn't often enough
A fun platformer that offers five to six hours of unique platforming, and a pace that rarely slows
New players may have issues diving into deeper intricacies of the fighting system, but this is still a fun fighter that balances absurd fun and technical mastery
Though Old Man's Journey is a short adventure, it's a gorgeous and memorable one thanks to its heartfelt storytelling and intriguing puzzles.
The puzzle-game intricacies remain once the excitement of the explosions wears off
The season ends with some intriguing and satisfying developments, but just like the rest of the season, it doesn't maintain an even quality throughout
Rime's puzzles rarely challenge, sometimes making you feel dumb for missing the obvious solution rather than smart for figuring them out, but the journey is a strong one with a satisfying ending
Although more unsettling than outright terrifying, Perception brings some novel ideas to the horror genre
This is still an incredibly fun fighting game to have at the ready and online, but Ultra's new modes and features are all minor additions
The interesting bits of story feel like they are being held captive, released only when you solve obvious puzzles or perform simple tasks
