The Ascent is a love letter to dark, gritty sci-fi that feels like a marriage between Dredd and Syndicate. Dripping with atmosphere and Sweet Justice’s Carptenter-esque score, all backed by intense tactical shootouts and next gen visuals. The Ascent is easily one of this years best games.
The frantic gameplay always leaves you wanting to clear one more room to see what’s next and that feeling never faded for me throughout my playthrough.

I would recommend Outriders to those that are looking for a new take on The Division. If you can put up with the bland story, you might really enjoy Outriders’ gameplay. It’s a pretty typical looter shooter with a decent co-op mode, especially if you have friends.
Evil Genius 2 makes good on the premise of the original. A superb concept is fully realized with fun and intricate gameplay to back up stellar presentation.
The Ancient Gods is an unapologetic and brutal conclusion to an epic game. Rip and tear into this expansion and see end for yourselves.
While the characters and story may not have the most depth, the time and attention given to making the most important aspects of the game click are worth their weight in gold.
If you are looking for a game that brings you back to a simpler generation of games, or you want to be a Werewolf for a few hours, this game is absolutely made for you.
