Planet Coaster launched back in 2016 on PC to amazing reviews. Management games are foreign to consoles; controllers can be cumbersome with the reliance on menus in the genre. Finally released on console, does Planet Coaster: Console Edition implement a strong control scheme to bring this fantastic game to a new audience?

Sayonara Wild Hearts is a simplistic trip through an album wrapped up in a visually pleasing package. Reminiscent of Bit Trip Runner, with more emphasis on the endless running rather than the platforming. However, does it do enough to set itself apart from being just an interactive album?

The Last Show of Mr. Chardish is an adventure title that portrays story beats in contained vignettes, with a variety of different gameplay styles aligning into one beautiful and tragic tale of obsession and struggle. However, a buggy presentation might hold it back.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin yields a unique blend of farming simulation and action-platforming that manages to be a filling meal without providing much valuable nutrients. For the most part, the two gameplay styles work off each other in harmony, but each have individual faults injecting tedium into the experience. Thankfully, the art style, story, and characters are all rich enough to carry the game through any dry spell.

This story-puzzler from Hypnotic Ants is many things: a beautiful, low-poly portal into the mind, satisfying gear-based puzzles that feel good to solve. But throughout the game, things feel just too disjointed, and that's what ultimately holds DREAMO back.

This action packed fighter will surprise fighting game fans and retro fans alike. The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny jumps from the year 2000 on the Neo Geo Pocket Color all the way to the year 2020 on Nintendo Switch. Originally only available on SNK's short lived handheld game console, Beyond the Destiny is a port of the arcade's The Last Blade and The Last Blade 2. This is an awesome fighter that deserves to be played.
