TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan is a huge missed opportunity, that should have and could have been so much more. Turtle Power this is not!
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 could've been great. It's the first 3D skateboarding game of this generation and all it really had to do was deliver an experience a bit better than the likes of Proving Ground and Project 8, just modernised to 2015. It failed to do that though, creating an experience that feels like a step backwards for the series. There's still fun to be had, especially if you can grab the game in the sales, but it's a disappointing installment you'll probably soon put to one side.
Redfall is a fun game at times, but its lack of cinematic storytelling and uninspired open-world gameplay loop struggles to allow me to feel immersed as much as I would have liked. In a nutshell, Redfall is a solid vampiric shooter that lacks the bite required to make this another Arkane classic.
Battlefield 2042 is full of potential, but the problem with potential is that it doesn’t give you value right now. Battlefield 2042 can have moments of brilliance, but its inconsistency issues make those moments few and far between. At least for now.
If you can discover its charm and see past its flaws, there’s still much to appreciate with Daymare: 1998
If you love the franchise as I do, there is some fun to be had in Terminator: Resistance, just go in with low expectations
If mowing down brainless mercenaries and mutants in confined spaces is your thing, then you’ll feel right at home with the Redeemer: Enhanced Edition. But if you are expecting something more from the £25/$30 which you’ll have to spend on this particular release, then you will be inexplicably disappointed – especially when faced with title’s numerous issues.

There’s a great game somewhere hidden beneath the tombs of Anthem, it’s just not there quite yet.
The Mooseman is a solid, short adventure with an interesting aesthetic and subject. It will be a bit simplistic for some people's liking, but if you can get past that (and the abstract nature of the narrative) then the game's presentation of this curious ancient mythology is sure to hold your interest.
Nightfall continues the shadow based stealth of the original Aragami, providing a generally well made expansion. However it's brevity is an issue, and ultimately the game doesn't offer anything new or interesting.
Yonder had the potential for a lot, but ultimately disappointed in the key areas of farming and crafting. There needed to be more in this game. As it is, it's enjoyable as a casual resource/management adventure, but not much else.
Despite being a thriller, Late Shift, is not nearly as well written, or structured as the films of the very same genre, such as the critically acclaimed North by Northwest. And that’s okay, because unlike Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, Late Shift is a compound entity, which consists of numerous scenes which revolve around each other depending on the choices made by the player.
A very challenging game with some good ideas and a cool aesthetic, but some imprecise controls and heavy handed difficulty sour the experience.
Leaving Lyndow initially sets a worrying proposal. An exploration game (read: walking simulator), and a run time of less than an hour. But there’s more to Leaving Lyndow than you may initially think, and ultimately it does what it does pretty well.
An endearing experience, though unfortunately not without its flaws. Far too short and badly paced, but if you can get past that, the world and art is gorgeous and there are some enjoyable puzzles on offer.
Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers looks nice, but unfortunately that’s the main thing it gets right. It controls competently and the combat works, but the level design is lacklustre and decides to force you in to replaying levels you’ve already completed that don’t feel different enough to warrant doing it.
A soulless addition to a phenomenal franchise, which has been seemingly created only for the old guard of the Soulsborne titles. However, even the fanatical fans of the series may find the overwhelming feeling of familiarity to be too strong for its own good.
Ultimately, Mount & Blade: Warband is a thing of the past available to the modern populous. And due to its clunky mechanics, which are spread across every aspect of the title, in combination with poor and uninspiring aesthetic, Warband will only pleasure a very small sample of individuals who decide to undertake the challenge of becoming the king of the land.
Neon Chrome is an addictive, isometric rogue-like, but its simplicity prevents it from competing with bigger titles such as Enter the Gungeon, or The Binding of Isaac.
