If I was to score the game purely from a gameplay perspective, it would pass with high scores and party poppers an all, but as an overall package and almost dead upon arrival online community, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is not only a huge missed opportunity
An interesting adventure that provides some cool sights and an intriguing narrative. Unlocking memories via wave-length puzzles is quirky and charming to begin with, however quickly becomes rote. Could have done with a wider variety of better designed challenges, but as it is it's an enjoyable experience.
The Crow's Eye offers a good variation of challenges, and an intriguing story to boot. Bugs and a lack of challenge hamper the experience, but ultimately this is a decent title.
An interesting title that combines light resource collecting and exploration, with a mysterious story. More linear than it initially seems, but this works in the game's favour. Clunky design and some glitches hamper the experience, however.
With the Deadpool movie just around the corner, Activision has decided to re-release the 2013 game on to PS4 and Xbox One. But will this re-release be enough to warrant your hard earned cash?
The game is rugged in some departments and a little less ambitious than I had previously thought it would be, but Soul Axiom is still a well put together and intriguing experience. It's a cool world filled with sparkly tech surroundings, a multitude of far ranging level environments and some really enjoyable puzzle solving.
Coming from its handheld roots, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate arrives to the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 with improved visuals and audio with the Deluxe Edition.
Along comes State of Decay, the Year One Survival Edition. In an era where HD makeovers are the in thing, how will this zombie post-apocalyptic survival experience hold up on the new gen systems?
Murdered: Soul Suspect is a supernatural crime thriller that throws you into the afterlife as Detective Ronan O'Connor as he attempts to solve his own murder from beyond the grave with a little help from an unlikely friend
The Executioner is the third and final expansion for the critically acclaimed The Evil Within and this time we assume control of the fearsome Keeper. With its first person and over powered approach, how will this DLC fair?
Farming Simulator 15 is a fun game but not fun enough nor polished enough to warrant the £45 RRP on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It's a strong base that is strangely relaxing and hopefully the developers build upon this in future releases. It fails to be enough of a simulation to live up to its namesake, but if you're a fan of agriculture there is enjoyment to be had.
Graphically Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is fairly poor but there's a certain charm to it, with the script definitely helping to boost up its score a tiny bit. It's far from a great game but it's an interesting base that will hopefully be built upon. The target audience is definitely younger gamers but there's enough of a challenge over the 6-10 hours of play time there for older gamers if they fancy giving it a go.
There's replayability in going for high scores and playing through harder difficulties, but most will play this once and probably not want to go back. When a price drop occurs and you have a craving for a 3D hack and slash adventure maybe give it a shot, but until then it's hard to recommend the game to anyone that isn't already a fan of the series.
If you’re a fan of Risk or classic board games, then you might enjoy Risk Urban Assault and its new take on a well-known formula. It’s a perfectly passable interpretation of the game,
Fated: The Silent Oath may be a fairly clunky game, but there's a lot of nice elements that sequels could easily build upon. Let's just hope they get the chance to.
Finally after many delays, The Elders Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has arrived to the console, but was it worth the wait? Find out in our review.
During the times Has-Been Heroes clicks you’ll find yourself having fun with it. If you can stick with it through at least one complete run then the game does open a bit and begin to add some much needed variety. Unfortunately the game also has too many hindrances in its gameplay that will put many gamers off getting that far.
Time will fly as you play, as you’ll find yourself thinking “okay, that last game was fun. Maybe just one more.” I found myself playing until 2am after having started around 11pm
If you are willing to spend some time experimenting with the menus and characters then you’ll enjoy Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness a lot more. The issue is the game has so many flaws and fails to take the series to the next level. It lacks basic things expected of a JRPG, whilst failing to include anything that ever feels remarkable.
If you're a fan of games with senseless violence, then Party Hard could be for you. The pixel art style is nice and the music is quite catchy. The gameplay however, gets repetitive quickly and the story is full of clichés, which would be easier to accept if there was a decent delivery of lines. It is a cool idea for a game, it's just a shame it fails to do much more than be a cool idea.
