After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.
A Fantastic game and another wonderful entry into the series.
I will admit that despite the fact it took me a while to get into the game and get a good feel for it, I love what there is to do the stories that are opening, and even though I have been playing it for hours and hours, there still looks like there is loads more to do and I can’t wait to finish it all!
I wasn't too sure whether I was going to like this game or not, it's not usually my style of game, however I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it and will continue to do so. The story has really gripped me and I would highly recommend the game.
The first time that I got to see this game was at EGX 2015 when it was there being showcased and I was very impressed with what I saw. Nearly a year later and I am having the privilege of being able to play the game, and I have to admit that the game starts as it means to go on.
Overall the game is wonderful and I am having an absolute blast playing it. The single player is a wonderful addition and with the beautifully told narrative it is a joy to play.
Beautiful graphics and the atmosphere and intensity that war brings all in one game!
My initial review upon finishing the game consisted of 3 words – BUY THIS NOW. Sadly though I don’t think that would have been published so I’ve tried to explain why I thought that in the words in the review. I’ve played quite a few games in my 46 years on the planet and this one is one of the best.
SuperHot VR is a short, but genuinely exhilarating experience. It provides a level of empowerment to the player that very few games can achieve, even other VR Games of a similar genre.
Overall another very enjoyable experience from a story I truly love.
One of the best fighting/brawler games going!
People who like the game will love it, but Won't convince gamers to return to the game.
I have always enjoyed NHL games, I like Ice Hockey as a sport, I have just never really understood the rules etc. Which I think it why I like to play NHL games, as it lets me play a sport I like while learning about it.
So, a beautiful looking game that has an amazing soundtrack and is based on a still unexplained real life event. I will now do quite a bit of reading about The Dyatlov Pass Incident and try to see how good the game related to it.
For a game I was apprehensive about trying, the different elements, the open-ness to the worlds and the freedom that you have the explore, discover and enjoy, I am so glad that I did, and I have a feeling that despite the 20+ hours I’ve put in already, I’m no where near finishing my journey.
I really enjoyed playing The Flame and the Flood, I loved the overall design and the survival elements that it brings. The game is unforgiving and if you don't listen to the hints that are given with the crafting and food, you will get punished.
Give it a try, I think you just might be surprised.
I have to be honest, for a first play through, I didn’t expect to clock the 80+ hours in the game, I haven’t been this invested in a game for a long time, and it has been such a nice change of pace to be engrossed in just one game and play through it. However saying that, there is no excuse for the glitches and problems that are in the game. Skyrim gets an 8/10.
Wonderful graphics and smooth gameplay.
If you are a fan of the series, then I would highly recommend this to you, if you are new to the series, I would still recommend this to you as you don’t need knowledge of the other games
