Critic Reviews for Rogue Stormers
A pretty colourful and fast run 'n' gun with many ideas and... technical problems.

The most frustrating thing about Rogue Stormers is that it is a few major flaws from being the perfect game.
Eliminating the rough edges and making the leveling up actually fun and frequent would go a long way to improving Rogue Stormers. It drips compelling things every now and then, but those don’t justify all the grind and frustration that lords over them.
Rogue Stormers is a decent, hectic shooter with a good co-op mode and a gameplay full of explosions and chaos. Unfortunately, it could have dared a little bit more: the bestiary is pretty lackluster, and the sense of progression is very, very slow, insanely tied to the number of enemies killed.

If you know some people that are interested and can split the cost, or you just really enjoy rogue-like shooters, then Rogue Stormers is probably right for you. Unfortunately, it’s definitely not right for me.
Rogue Stormers isn’t going to blow your socks off by any means, but there is still some fun to be had, once you level up your characters and start experimenting with the sub-weapons. Add in a couple of friends to play with and you’re in for a decent time for at least a few hours. The grind may eventually get to you, but along the way, there can be some fun in there.
Rogue Stormers takes place in a fantasy action setting with a run and gun tint. If you think "Contra meets Metroid" you'll get the gist.
Rogue Stormers, despite its limitations and its defects, has managed to amuse and entertain us. It is not a perfect game, but it represents a great challenge for all those who appreciate this particular genre and very challenging videogames.
