Code Shifter looked cool to me when I saw it but after playing it I walked away feeling pretty disappointed.
7th Sector is an immersive, atmospheric puzzle game and despite some frustrating puzzles it’s well worth checking out.
There are far better JRPGs out there to play than this so avoid it unless you can find it on a deep, deep sale.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics has some flaws but overall I walked away feeling good about it.
Skellboy is an enjoyable enough adventure title that I’d recommend giving it a shot at some point.
A good twin-stick shooter but I can’t say it did anything to really make it feel memorable like some other games in the genre have.
If you enjoy visual novel/adventure titles like this then Coffee Talk is an easy recommend.
For those who still like a challenge you don’t have to use the new features as they are just an additional option. Sure the visuals aren’t the greatest to look at but the gameplay alone makes this one worth picking up.
Sega Ages Fantasy Zone is yet another great port from developer M2. The game has a wealth of new features that should help anyone who struggled to make it through the game in the past. It still looks great and since all of the Sega Ages titles are priced at just $7.99 it’s hard to not recommend giving it a shot if you enjoy shoot’em ups.
Music Racer is a solid rhythm game with a lot of content for its low asking price, though it’s a shame the custom MP3 upload doesn’t work on consoles.
Untitled Goose Game starts with an interesting premise: Stealth your way through town like you are Solid Goose and then annoy people in specific ways to cross out pranks from your to-do list.
This western RPG is truly out of this world. It’s perhaps the single most enjoyable game of its kind and succeeded were similar games have failed: to keep me hooked until the very end. It looks great, sounds fantastic and the writing had me grinning from ear to ear. If this is a forebode of things to come for Obisidian Entertainment: they now have my attention.
It doesn’t do anything to stand out and rather just does things that make me want to recommend you pick up one of the many other twin-stick shooters out there.
If you enjoy games with twisted worlds and dark aesthetics then Tamashii is a game for you.
Strainium Immortaly is a bit of a mixed bag to me as it has a lot of things I like but also some things that make it feel a little unfair.
I would still recommend a playthrough for fans of the genre, but set your expectations accordingly.
Overall this game is a huge step in the right direction for VR, and in my eyes is a must-play for any VR gamer who enjoys a story-driven puzzle adventure.
The Universal Monsters Pack for Pinball FX3 is fun but with it only offering two tables it’s not one I would recommend to rush out and buy.
The Williams Pinball Pack Volume 5 is another great set of additions to the overall Pinball FX3 experience.
Demon Pit works well as a game but just doesn’t offer much to players outside of just being an arena shooter.
