Tower 57 is a great game for those who are looking for an old-fashioned top-down shooter. It may not be something that this generation of gamers can enjoy, but it’s something that can be a great homage to the classic arcade games of the 90’s.
Batman: The Telltale Series on the go is the big plus here. I can bring the game wherever I want and with the whole first season of the game installed on my Nintendo Switch, it’s a great game to let time pass while waiting for my dog’s checkup at the vet clinic or while I’m traveling. While it does have some setbacks, Batman: The Telltale Series is a nice addition to the Nintendo Switch’s library of games. I just wished Telltale Games could have added more to the Nintendo Switch version.
Overall, Skyrim VR is still a good experience. Even if it has bad control mechanics as a VR game, Skyrim is still Skyrim. You can tell from the game’s visuals that Skyrim has aged and dated. However, Skyrim delivers its greatest strengths in this VR iteration: vast open-worlds and hundreds of gameplay hours. Despite its shortcomings, I was enjoying myself exploring Tamriel in VR. This was honestly not the best Skyrim experience but it was still worth it
Overall the game is one of or if not, the best fighting game of 2018, and you should definitely put this on your list. If you already have it? Then you're one of the lucky ones.
If you're looking for a Ben 10 game to play, we wouldn't recommend this one. It may just leave a bad impression overall. The previous installments, such as Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction for the actual PS2, would be a much preferable alternative.
Despite the lack of introducing new mechanics to set off the mid-season, Telltale Games took the helm with its narrative direction for Episode 3: The Fractured Mask. It’s a good way to spice things up as we get closer to the season finale, and hopefully, the next episode would not screw this momentum up.
Overall, it is a symphony of sounds. A magical journey through music. An enchantingly visual experience. Although it is a relatively short game, I think that this game is more suited as a guilty pleasure and an experience that you’d like to have when you just want to relax.
I truly enjoyed the game and the challenge it offered. And for its price point, I believe that it is well worth it. If you ever want a game where it challenges your mind and offers such a beautiful landscape then you should check this game out.
While there’s certainly substance in Black Mirror, I think that that substance just isn’t translating well on PC – I’m made to remember Hiveswap, released earlier this year, which had somewhat similar elements but much more to actually DO, and with an interface that actually worked in your favor.
When you’re done with the main quest, you can still go out and explore the map. You never know what you might find. Or, you can even choose to live like an NPC, walking around town for days on end, doing nothing but sleeping, drinking, and then work on a farm or things NPCs do. You can buy a house, fill the shelves with books, adopt a kid, be a good dad. Or you can be a tyrant, killing everyone on town. But who would do that, really? He-he. Excuse me while I load a save.
Overall, Super Lucky's Tale is definitely not something that platforming fanatics are going to want to pick up. This game is more suited to children or people who are just starting to getting into platformers as everything feels like it could have been so much more.
I like it that missions are replayable especially if you miss to collect a certain coin, this also helps in your experience with combining different cards to have the most successful outcomes. This game is like a mashup of a card game, board game and an RPG game that blends really well together. A very solid game, it’s that little gem that needs to be known by everyone.
Overall, I can say that this expansion pack was passionately crafted and thought of. Another job well-done for the devs and creator of this game. Although I am hoping for more new items for the pets in the future patches and updates, there’s no doubt on the incredible amount of personalization for the existing game. The new expansion brings about a lot of new challenges and limitless future discoveries for players. You just can’t get enough of these adorable cats and dogs. With the expansion pack’s replay value and price of $49.90, it deserves a solid 9/10.
Overall, Sonic Forces isn’t the follow-up critical darling that Sonic Mania was, not even close. However, it’s not without its own merits, from the mostly decent gameplay and unabashedly corny story, there’s still some things to love about the game. I’d only recommend it to the passionate Sonic fans, however, who need some more blue blur magic in their life. Sometimes Sonic just has to get over a few speed bumps to be good, but this time it’s just another speed bump.
Even if the final episode had its fair share of problems, the experience of playing a Guardian’s of the Galaxy Telltale game’s last hurrah is something that a lot of people are definitely going to enjoy. The way the characters are presented, how the dialogue is written, the music that plays, and even the camera angles used for just about every scene was well done and this is definitely a game that fans of both the comic books and the films should definitely get their hands on.
Overall, I can truly say that this game has breathed new life into the series. This is a true comeback for the series and Ghost Games has done such a good job providing lots of entertainment and fun with this game. Despite the shortcomings of the game, I have enjoyed my time while playing it and I hope that the series can continue on with the same kind of feel. It was such a rush in a good kind of way and I can’t wait to get the same kind of feeling in the next installment.
LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 is a game that will consume your hours, definitely. The world is huge, the roster is huge, and there’s so much to explore that can’t be done in just under 24 hours. This is for new and longtime fans who have been engrossed with the entire Marvel world, plus those with love for action-adventure games with a dash of LEGO humor.
Star Wars Battlefront II is a complete experience unlike its predecessor. Despite the undelivered single-player campaign in terms of gameplay, the story was grand, magnificent, and well written! And even though it's riddled with microtransactions and loot crates, Star Wars Battlefront II delivered one of the best and smoothest multiplayer experience I've had this year, and I'm certainly satisfied.
The Frozen Wilds adds more depth to Horizon: Zero Dawn as it also paves the path for a sequel that might be set in a different location that is far from the tribes. This expansion completes the overall formula that Guerrilla Games wanted to do with their latest IP, and with extreme efforts, they turned world of Horizon: Zero Dawn into a whole new level that I had enjoyed deeply.
My recommendation? Wait for the full game to release, if you already own the previous installments, I suggest you get this episode for yourself since you’ve come too far off to stop now.
