7 / 10.0 - Perception
Jun 9, 2017

Overall, Perception is a relaxing yet tenseful game. A game that lets you experience how it is to lose sight. I can’t imagine having to navigate their world this way and all I can say it’s making me see them in a new light. It makes me thankful for my sight and makes me realize that blind people make do with what they have and still enjoy life as it is. I applaud the developers for bringing this experience to us that which makes me more considerate of what a blind person has to go through everyday.

4 / 10.0 - Akiba's Beat
Jun 5, 2017

Playing Akiba's Beat is a test of will and patience. Instead of building up from the previous game, it stripped it down to a simple 4 stage adventure. The standard cycle should be this: Find the person causing the delusions, convince them that this is bad, destroy the Grand Phantasm and break the delusion.

After all that’s said and done, Telltale delivered a game that has a nice story but not compelling enough to be part of the mainstream season. Sure it was a game that had lots of surprises and twists but at the end of the day it was not the game I was really hoping for. I still have high hopes for next season and hopefully we get a season that we finally deserve.

7.5 / 10.0 - Embers of Mirrim
Jun 4, 2017

Overall, I’d say Embers of Mirrim isn’t a game that you’d appreciate when you’re looking for good graphics and decent story, but if you’re looking for a platformer title which has unique mechanics, then this this game is just perfect for you.

Tekken 7 at its core, is a pure fighting game. It’s a game that has been around for decades and has proven that you can teach old dogs new tricks. 8.5 / 10.0 - RiME
May 30, 2017

In the end, RiME is a beautiful piece and I loved every second I spent in this magical game. It’s an emotional adventure, and that’s what it makes RiME a stunning title despite the performance issues it has.

9.5 / 10.0 - Injustice 2
May 25, 2017

Overall, Injustice 2 is a masterpiece of the fighting game genre. It features one of the best super hero stories of all time, defying expectations of both the genre and the medium. Not only that, but it’s the best looking fighting game to date, with the best facial expressions in a game since Uncharted 4.

7.5 / 10.0 - Butcher
May 23, 2017

Butcher might not be graphically hooking, and it may lack a bit of replay value, but it definitely put some fancy retro side-scroller shooter aside with its entertaining gameplay and gore.

8 / 10.0 - Prey
May 23, 2017

Despite the fact that there were technical difficulties, I still enjoyed the game thoroughly. And as much as I would like to talk more details about it, it is better that you explore this dangerous ship to discover them all. It was a fun game from beginning to end. It's a game that tests your morality and compassion. A game that is tailored by how you play it and a game that rewards and punishes you for the things that you do.

6.5 / 10.0 - LocoRoco Remastered
May 23, 2017

All in all, this game is definitely not made for children as they would easily get frustrated by the puzzles and traps in this game. It's a puzzle platforming game at its core and if you just want to waste some time then this game is for you. But if you get frustrated easily with platforming then I suggest you look elsewhere.

4 / 10.0 - Demon's Crystals
May 22, 2017

Demon’s Crystal is another flawed twin-stick shooter and is not even worth your time at all if you want to play this alone. The local multiplayer experience has shed some little hope in Demon’s Crystals, but the lack of online feature makes the game unconvincing unless if you like on-the-couch experience with friends.

8.5 / 10.0 - Seasons After Fall
May 21, 2017

Seasons After Fall‘s story is almost like a child’s favorite bedtime book with its adorable illustrations. Making the story not too complicated to understand, but the message it conveyed was deep. Its music is very relaxing coupled with sounds of nature making it so pleasant to the ears.

5 / 10.0 - Everything
May 20, 2017

Everything is not an experience for everyone. Considering how trippy and weird the game is, I guess the most enjoyment you are going to have with this game is when playing it with friends while drunk or high.

Skylar & Plux misses a lot of great opportunities that would have made the game great and appeal to most platformer lovers out there, but I do recognize the effort of Right Nice Games for this decent 3D platformer.

3 / 10.0 - Lethal League

Even with moments of trivial gaming here and there, I still have hopes for this game that maybe they will have this upgraded soon or someone out there will prove me wrong. Who knows?

5.9 / 10.0 - NBA Playgrounds
May 18, 2017

Overall, NBA Playgrounds could’ve been the next NBA Jam. It nails everything from the look of the characters, to the lighthearted commentary. While it’s fun at first for a few rounds, as time goes on the cracks start to show and you realize that this game is more of an attempted layup than an actual slam dunk. If you’ve never played an NBA Jam game before, you can give this game a shot. Otherwise, for a true arcade basketball experience, stick to the classics.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Surge
May 16, 2017

I would also say that mecha or sci-fi fans will love this game as much as I do for even at the first couple of hours of game time — I had already immersed with the game. It was hard for me to let go of my controller, the action was getting to me and it set my carnage on rampage.

4 / 10.0 - Strafe
May 16, 2017

STRAFE as of now feel unfinished, and is too reliant on its successful marketing campaign. If you are an absolute diehard for these type of games, I implore you to look up Brutal Doom instead. It is a free mod that gives the original Doom a bit more oomph and visceral feedback, while changing some of the controls to feel both familiar and fresh.

Birthdays the Beginning looks promising but most of the expectations did not meet when you start playing. Being their God was not easy and for me that was the only thing keeping me alive in the game, I could have died from boredom later.

8.3 / 10.0 - Outlast II
May 13, 2017

For the most part, Outlast 2 ticks all the boxes when it comes to presentation. The story may seems convoluted at first but given enough time and introspection, it can be rewarding. As of now though, the revelations are left to speculations and interpretations.
