Sirus Gaming's Reviews

We Were Here Forever is a title that stands out on its own. I for one was in awe of what this game has to offer, from its strange story to the various challenges the game throws at you. Fully encouraging players to communicate clearly and really define the term “teamwork”. Nothing can be achieved alone in this game.

I would still highly recommend The Cosmic Shake to anyone, especially those who are already a fan of the SpongeBob franchise. I’ve already mentioned it more than a couple of times, but the sheer fact that I had fun all throughout the game is enough for the game to get a thumbs up from me. If I were to decide, The Cosmic Shake deserves a sequel.

Even though it's 10 years late, Dead Space (2023) is Electronic Arts' apology letter after the mayhem of Dead Space 3. With the release of this remake, it has been demonstrated that good development and listening to what the public wants is essential in providing a breath of fresh air to an old game.

After a continuous review of what Fire Emblem Engage has to offer, I could say in total that this game isn’t a bad game to play. The story content and gameplay will need to be more challenging if they are determined to make this series as big as their predecessor. I would recommend this game to those who are fans of the FE series including those who are new to it as well.

6 / 10.0 - Forspoken
Jan 23, 2023

It is apparent that Forspoken has potential. There are highs and lows but it seems like the latter is more obvious. Unfortunately, despite the fact that a demo was released in December to solicit feedback from players, the game has not improved. Despite the ample amount of delay, the game has failed to deliver the quality that we expect from a large publisher like Square Enix. Yes, it is playable, but if you can ignore the flaws and focus solely on the unique blend of story and great traverse mechanic, it will make your time in Athia worthwhile.

7 / 10.0 - Evil West

Evil West's enjoyable, gruesome combat will keep you wanting to land more punches and rip monsters apart despite the dreary narrative.

God of War Ragnarok is a masterpiece in all aspects and is a very strong contender for the Game of the Year 2022 title. The buildups towards the climax felt like the end of a very long, but satisfyingly attractive, tunnel. It’s definitely one of the games on my list I wish to play again for the first time.

6.5 / 10.0 - Gotham Knights
Oct 20, 2022

Gotham Knights can prove to be a great game in certain aspects but it struggles to find its own identity. It’s lost and doesn’t really know what it wants to be, but regardless of its identity crisis, Gotham Knight’s characters, co-op, and enjoyable combat made my time memorable and bearable.

Destroy All Humans 2! Reprobed may not be the perfect polished game out there, but the persistent open world you get to explore and the chaos you bring to mankind are nothing but exquisite and entertaining. If it wasn’t for the mission glitch and minor polish issues, I would have given the game an 11/10! I had fun with Reprobed and will definitely love to see a much more fitting sequel than Big Willy Unleashed and Path of the Furon from Black Forest Games.

8 / 10.0 - Saints Row
Aug 22, 2022

Saints Row franchise has been on a roller-coaster ride ever since Saints Row 4 was released, mainly since the game design became really confusing as to what direction the developers wanted it to go. It has gone so many changes throughout the years which some fans loved and hated. It tried to win back old fans by sticking to the old formula of lunacy, while trying to attract new generation of gamers through its relatable story. It is far from perfect and while there are minor hiccups in this game, we can assume that Deep Silver wanted to it go in a definite direction, a crime-centric game filled with comic relief and craziness.

Midnight Fight Express does nothing new but it does not really need to, while it can get bogged down by its boring ranged combat it is more than propped by its engaging and really fun hand-to-hand combat, good soundtrack, and extensive customization.

7.5 / 10.0 - Rollerdrome
Aug 16, 2022

All in all, Rollerdrome absolutely nailed it in terms of gameplay but it came at the cost of other aspects such as the story. The two-tier system of guns and tricks is so well done that I constantly find myself trying to outdo my previous score because I know I can do better. Unfortunately, the game failed to tie the overarching story and gameplay together in any meaningful way. If it’s stylish action you’re looking for, Rollerdrome’s got that covered for a while. It’s just a shame that doesn’t offer much else.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is another fuel-pumping PlayStation franchise that PC gamers can now experience. While there are just a few more kinks to sort out by Nixxes, the amazing level of optimization the team managed to achieve is surely impressive. If you want to play the best version of Insomniac Games’ Spidey, that’s going to be on PC.

8.5 / 10.0 - Two Point Campus
Aug 4, 2022

Overall, Two Point Campus is a stellar addition to the Two Point series of games. The game is a perfect complementary piece to Two Point Hospital. There’s always something new to look forward whether it’s new item unlocks to decorate your campus with or new locations with their own set of challenges, you are guaranteed something new right up to the ending of the game. And just when you thought you had a handle on things, the game throws curve balls at you in ways you never thought possible in a Two Point game. But hey, that’s Two Point County in a nutshell. If you like management games with a light sense of humor, I strongly recommend this game.

7 / 10.0 - Hard West 2
Aug 4, 2022

Overall, Hard West 2 has some interesting ideas but is ultimately held back in part because of a reliance on RNG mechanics that frustrates more than anything else. But a memorable cast of characters does save the game from being too one-dimensional… if you are willing to take the time to get to know your crewmates a little bit more. It’ll depend on your mileage but Hard West 2 does delivery where it counts, even if it has some additional luggage.

8 / 10.0 - Digimon Survive
Aug 2, 2022

Overall, Digimon Survive is a really good game and has the potential to be a unique storytelling game for Digimon fans. With the use of a light novel system and mixing it with RPG-style elements, I truly believe this game can appeal not only to Digimon fans but to gamers as well. I highly recommend this game to many and that they should try to read more info about the game before trying this out.

Overall, PowerWash Simulator is one of the best casual game experiences I have ever had. It does get irritating in some places but in the end, it is a fun and relaxing experience that’s worth playing. I would recommend the game to relax or just chill and hang out with friends in co-op.

8 / 10.0 - As Dusk Falls

As Dusk Falls is a tense and exciting drama about crime and the families who get involved in it. If you love crime-drama TV shows, then you'll feel right at home with this game. This storytelling video game feels intense and interesting at every turn. However, you should be aware of its shortcomings and limitations before purchasing.

9 / 10.0 - Stray

Overall, Stray has been quite an experience and I can say that it's one of those games that you'd really want to play if you enjoy a good story and exploration. It's a game for cat lovers, it's a game for cyberpunk lovers. It's a game for people who never stopped dreaming of getting out of a place they feel trapped in.

Overall, Starship Troopers: Terran Command showcases a lot of love for the films. While the repetitive mission objectives can be a complete turn-off, this flaw is overshadowed by the unique scenarios, great level of detail, amazing audio design, and the ultimate fan service. It’s a solid Starship Troopers game.
