Total War: Warhammer III is an excellent game for the strategic mind. Those who wish to build their own empire, dominate, and form alliances will find a lot of content to satisfy their urges. If you’re willing to invest hours of your time into Total War: Warhammer III you’ll find a rich addicting experience.

All in all, Life is Strange Remastered Collection, as a game, is better than the sum of its parts. I’ve found it to be flawed yet fascinating and interesting. The same can be said for parts of its prequels but that game can also be a bore sometimes. Whatever the case may be, these are games I would recommend to anyone curious as Life is Strange has a lot to offer that may connect better with you. But I do recommend you hold off on this remaster until the bugs have been addressed.

8.5 / 10.0 - Sifu
Feb 6, 2022

When everything falls into place, and you hit that flow-state mastery of Sifu’s combat, it becomes one of the most unique and refreshing action games that we have seen in a while. Add in some beautiful artwork and great homages to kung fu classics, and this game is a winner. Its challenging and repetitious nature won't be for everybody; however, If you’re in the market for a game with mechanics that you can really sink your teeth into, Sifu is your best bet.

9 / 10.0 - OlliOlli World

OlliOlli World is visually beautiful and mechanically fulfilling. The game appeals to both casual and competitive players, all the while wrapped in a charming world inhabited by interesting characters.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human largely improves upon the original in every way, and it will have you enveloped in the dying light of the City again and again as you glide, climb, and jump from roof to roof in search of the next thing to explore.

Overall, Pokémon Legends Arceus is a great game. With a new concept being used for this Pokémon series, in my opinion, there might be a chance that this concept will be used for future Pokémon games. I also think that this game could potentially open new heights for more spin offs and open the door to different platforms like PC where Pokémon can find a new audience.

Despite the lack of ray tracing and the absence of Uncharted 4‘s beloved multiplayer, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is still an impressive PS5 port, providing the best overall performance. However, the $49.99 price point doesn’t really sit well with me; such that the PS4 versions of both games, which costs about only $10 each at retail, still look and play great.

Ultimately, Rainbow Six Extraction is a forgettable experience with a solid foundation that will hopefully be built upon in the months and years to come.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is, by far, the most complete dino theme park simulator package today. I love it, it's worth it, you need to get out there and buy it so life can find its way.

7.5 / 10.0 - Solar Ash
Dec 2, 2021

Solar Ash is at its best when you can skate a line perfectly and enter that satisfying flow state where nothing can stop you. The only thing Solar Ash asks of you is to fall into its groove and fall in love with its style, and if you can do that, you will have a wonderful time.

I strongly recommend Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One to those seeking to sharpen their minds. It isn’t a perfect experience with its noticeable flaws but it is a great game for those who want to put themselves in the shoes of the legendary detective.

Overall, Super Robot Wars 30 is worth the price of admission and JRPG fans will love the content it has to offer. The story, animation, gameplay, and setting prove that this game is worth celebrating 30 years of the franchise. For those who wish to play this game, they can start first playing the DEMO in either the PS4 or Nintendo Switch to get used to the game’s system and more. Super Robot Wars 30 has shown many, including myself, what it means to be a major gaming franchise for BANDAI NAMCO.

Despite Maiden of Black Water’s flaws, I do think it succeeds with creating an eerie atmosphere, and some of the storytelling and lore sent chills down my spine. Unfortunately, a lot of the lore is told through found documents, and it can be hard to stay engaged by reading journal after journal. When you do see a scene through the main story or via Fatal Glances after defeating enemies, it does feel a little more important and special since they’re few and far between. If you’re looking to play a game with a spooky story and a different take on the survival horror genre, pick up your camera and head into Fatal Frame’s world.

What Guardians of the Galaxy brings to the table is an entertaining combat system centered around combining team elements for optimal results, coupled with an excellent and meaningful upgrade system that all creates a fun gameplay loop. Throw in a remarkably clever and well-written story, and Guardians of the Galaxy becomes what I consider to be an exceedingly enjoyable and palatable game.

Overall, Skul: The Hero Slayer is a great roguelike where we play a very funny antihero trying to save his masters from actual heroes who have come to flex how powerful humans are.

If you can stick through some wooden voice acting and awkward animation, there is a decent B-movie thriller here that is easy to digest if you’re looking for some video game pulp horror this Halloween season.

6.5 / 10.0 - Back 4 Blood
Oct 18, 2021

On its own, Back 4 Blood isn’t a bad zombie game. I can definitely see people enjoying it with friends. However it’s difficult to give a confident recommendation when it offers such a mediocre experience. Should they be able to balance the difficulty a little better, that could be paramount into improving the game.

While some of the game’s mechanics haven’t aged super well, it’s still a fun and eerie ride through Bright Falls, and it is enjoyable to see where Remedy came from. If I had played this game when it first came out, I think I would have appreciated it more, but that isn’t to say Alan Wake Remastered isn’t worth your time. If you’re looking for an eccentric and spooky story with some zany characters and good gameplay, spend some time with Alan in Bright Falls.

Overall, if you know what you’re getting into with Insurgency Sandstorm, I am confident it will be an enjoyable game. It is a competent and decently fleshed-out mil-sim shooter that is rarely found outside of the PC space. Otherwise, you might just end up playing in silence, get sniped a few times from an unseen enemy, and decide to spend your time elsewhere as the game doesn’t do much in terms of catering to solo players thanks to its hardcore nature.

Phoenix Point: Behemoth Edition is a very good game, objectively. It is an absolute treat for seasoned veterans, and there is enough intrigue here that’ll satisfy new comers to the genre. The game has plenty of content and a story of survival with plenty of moments of self-doubt and revelations. But the game itself doesn’t run well on PS4. And that’s unfortunate. Only time will tell if patches can improve on the experience.
