Mr Brother Rabbit took me by surprise with its emotional, yet wonderful story and different gameplay puzzles to solve. While it's not original in execution, this is an easy game to recommend for any puzzle and point-and-click adventure fans.
On the surface, Prodigy Tactics boasts a high quality presentation and entertaining gameplay. Unfortunately, it suffers from technical issues and doesn't offer very much for players to do. Having just been brought out of Early Access, it should have stayed a little longer.
Frozen Synapse 2 is a good game, but is doomed to be overshadowed by other more popular games. It's too expensive at full price, put it on your wishlist and wait for it to go on sale.
Fans of action adventure games are sure to enjoy Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It features great storytelling and exploration with fun combat, customizable weaponry, upgradeable skills, and plenty of new tombs to explore for treasure! Despite a couple of things holding it back, it's well worth your time and money.
As long as the pixels and difficulty level don't deter you, Depth of Extinction is a solid game that rewards tactics and squad play.
A solid game in need of some better balancing, Immortal can be unfair but it’s still worth a play for Souls fans.
An original take on the puzzle-platformer, Hue is a blast, and will keep you engaged until the last room is cleared.
If you’ve ever wanted to be a super hero, this is your chance. If you’re unfamiliar with Spider-Man this is a great entry point. Insomniac has another hit on their hands. And if you own a PS4 this is a must buy.
NASCAR Heat is a game for the diehard fans of the sport. Your favorite series and drivers are all here for you to get behind the wheel with.
Painstakingly average, there are too many other games that one could play that can do what Shadows: Awakening does, and better.
SNK HEROINES: Tag Team Frenzy is a fun fighting game with lots of customization to offer. It is too bad that the grind to unlock everything does not feel rewarding enough. Not to mention, the online does not offer much to stick around for.
Nicalis kicks off its original game universe with Blade Strangers. A 2D fighting game with great animation and a solid fighting game that can knuckle up with the greats of the genre. With characters from their own franchises and some indie darlings we love, there's a fighter for everyone here.
Graveyard Keeper's signature mechanic provides plenty of fun, and the numerous other activities keep things interesting, but the game is bogged down by balance issues, slow progression, and poor combat. There's a neat experience to be had here, but you need a lot of patience to get the most out of it.
If you enjoy arcade shooters, cool VR games, and 80's nostalgia, check this game out.
Blind emphatically asserts itself as a front-runner for one of the best walking sims exclusive to VR.
Apex Construct is in the upper echelon of virtual reality experiences. The tight and fluid controls, engaging story, and secrets to find, make this one title you need to play on PS VR.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is, quite simply, awesome and really scratches that Life is Strange itch leading up the release of Life is Strange 2. Dontnod is really on to something with this series and I hope that they can bottle lightning twice by making LiS2 as good as the first game.
Dead Cells sits in a genre that many strive to find success in. It succeeds where others fail due to a providing a memorable experience. Its rogue nature creates such a variety in gameplay that no two players can tell the same story. The Gothic, medieval setting and mysterious lore make every step taken worth it, as does all the sweet weapons and upgrades.
God Wars: The Complete Legend is an enjoyable strategy RPG with a lot of customization options to keep hungry fans chewing. The lore is intriguing and the voice work is great. Unfortunately, it has a few issues that hold it back from greatness. For SRPG fans, there's a lot of meat on the bone. If you're new to the genre, though, you may want to sit a while on this one.
While the game is beautiful and has a rich story, I don't feel it breaks any new ground. However, if you want a mature psychological horror game dealing with spiritual matters this is a must buy. But, if you're looking to play a horror game, I would look elsewhere.
