There's something for everyone in Cult of the Lamb, and every mechanic and feature feels well thought out. The game is cute, funny, and fun. Everyone should try it!
Knights of the Old Republic presents us with an excellent, if not predictable, story in the galaxy far, far away; while it has aged, KOTOR remains a solid RPG to this day.
Lifeless Planet delivers a distinguished story and great scenery to enjoy your journey to the end of it. Just don't go in expecting anything more than a story and walking.
Digimon Survive has both a well-made story and a deep combat system that will engage players through each route they may take, but the first few hours are ill-paced with long breaks away from combat.
There's nothing outrageously wrong with Elemental War 2 but it plays more like a platform for experimentation rather than an actual game.
GreedFall boasts a unique, semi-open world in which to immerse yourself, but is held back by the limitations of its game engine.
Super UFO Fighter is an adorable, crane game-like experience that is incredibly addictive and fun to play with others locally or online. Easy to learn and fun to fill your museum's item catalogue with all the capsule treasures you find!
Two Point Campus offers a rewarding and rich experience. It's hard to find faults here without nitpicking negligible things like the odd repetition of a tannoy voice line, meaning that Two Point Campus really is the top of the class.
Issues aside, I enjoyed playing Sword and Fairy: Together Forever. It isn't going to be for everyone, and the lore can be a bit overwhelming, but for those willing to stick with it, you'll find a deep and engrossing RPG.
Pendula Swing - The Complete Journey is a unique, fun, and beautiful experience that I think everyone that is a fan of RPG and point-and-clicks should try. It charmed my pants right off.
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium once again delivers the experience of visiting an arcade with tons of great titles; this collection is sure to be a good time.
Frogun is a must-play for 3D platformer enthusiasts that love retro-inspired titles. As long as you come with tempered expectations and expect a collect-a-thon more than fast-paced platforming, you'll love it.
Lenna's Inception is a good choice for those that are fans of Zelda and enjoy satirical, wacky games.
Although a fun little title with its own uniquely surreal charm, Jigsaw Savant might be a game that'll struggle to find a wider audience outside of jigsaw puzzle fanatics.
co-open is a charming game with many quests and collectibles to get. It's a great game to play if you're looking for something calming and cute!
With some creative mechanics and interesting subject matter, Milky Way Prince - A Vampire Star was good but I wish it had been done better and handled with more care.
Wonder Boy Collection is a fun group of titles for people who love classic games. The ability to rewind when you die or get hit is helpful to make progress in titles like Wonder Boy, which are known for their difficulty!
Krut: The Mythic Wings is an alright game but fails to do anything new and feels incredibly repetitive after a while.
House Party surprised me by not being a game solely based around sex; the intricate storylines, lovable characters, and replayable nature makes this an easy title to recommend to those that don't feel queasy about the premise and ultimate reward.
Everything in Stray works together so well; the characters, the story, and being a cat is so realistic and fun that it is so rewarding. I can't recommend this game enough; it is my game of the year for 2022 meow!
