Freekstorm appears to have focused their entire attention on their antagonist, relying on Kvorak to keep the players attention which ultimately fails. Clunky controls and poorly developed puzzles leaves this reviewer with only one choice...Obliterate Doctor Kvorak's Obliteration Game.
ELEX is a broken, messy game that might have some interesting ideas deep down but they won't save it. Honestly you are better of avoiding or waiting for the developers to maybe save this title.
Knee Deep is a game that certainly tries to bring its world to life, but overall, doesn't make it past the first hurdle. A narrative focused title that isn't gripping nor riveting, Knee Deep shows us the negative side of storytelling.
My final rating is solely for the art, I'd be generous to really call this a game, but it has its charm.
What we have here is the definition of cash-grabbing and at £40 you’ll be as braindead as the ghouls ingame to buy. The release is obscenely catered towards parents or grandparents who would buy this for their child/grandchild because, it’s all the kids are talking about these days.
Overall, I think Shadwen could be a good game, but for whatever reason I was unable to play it as the developer intended. Other reviewers don’t seem to have encountered the same issue as I had, so perhaps it’s just a one-off. Consider perusing other reviews before making a purchase decision, reader, as I am going to have to give Shadwen a low score. Ultimately, I found it to be unplayable.
A hastily cobbled together mess of a videogame, Red Game Without A Great Name doesn't deserve your attention. I suffered it so you don't have to.
I can't recommend Thea. If there's something to note, it's the fact that it runs pretty smoothly and without crashes. Like you should. Away from this game.
This game will likely make such a fleeting appearance in your life that it'll disappear under the TV stand or behind the sofa. Sadly, a disappointment on many fronts.
The Flock attempts to create something unique by giving it a limited shelf life, however the game has such little content that the ticking timer of player lives will probably never be reached.
Avoid Alekhine's Gun. There are much better games out right now that are actually worth your time and money. Hell, there's a proper Hitman game out this month - go get that, it's a fraction of the price! Alekhine's Gun will not be remembered for its own efforts, but for the efforts of the Youtuber's that will tear it apart.
It seems Wizards of the Coast have taken a step back with Magic 2015. Bad Deck Building, micro-transactions and lack of other modes makes for a boring and unimaginative installment of Duels of The Planeswalkers.
Overall Carmageddon: Reincarnation fails in almost every way to be an enjoyable revisit to arcade style racing mixed with running over pedestrians. The game is a hassle to start, not optimized, and no fun whatsoever.
REAL ESTATE Simulator - FROM BUM TO MILLIONAIRE is a dull, repetitive sim that lacks depth. If you're looking for an original, dynamic real estate game, you won't find it here.
Ooblets had enormous potential, but the sheer amount of grinding and shallow mechanics really disappointed me. Unless you don't mind dull and repetitive gameplay loops, I don't recommend trying it.
The game isn't much fun and has the worst pacing imaginable. It's probably not worth your time or money and you won't be very impressed by anything it has to offer, so there are probably better games to spend these $3.99 on.
The most infuriating part about Tchia is that the very few enjoyable moments are incredible, letting you see exactly how great of a title this could have been if it weren't for its many lacking elements.
Interkosmos 2000's voice acting and story are terrible, and the gameplay - the only enjoyable aspect of the game - is broken, extremely repetitive, and gets stale after just a few hours of doing the same two tasks.
ITORAH's lush and vibrant environments are one of the only enjoyable aspects of the game, and even those won't manage to rope you through the game's boring storytelling and slow gameplay.
After great first impressions showcasing fun gameplay and interesting characters, it quickly becomes a fascinatingly bad example of mech combat, lacking feedback, foresight, and fair play. Unbelievably boring offensive capabilities, a nonsensical story, and hilarious voice acting which tries its best to stand out. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to stand out.
