SteamWorld Dig 2 is an excellent successor to the original that greatly exceeds the excellent standards set by its prequel. This is exactly what I wanted for a sequel, and I can't wait to see what the team at Image & Form has in store for the next SteamWorld game! Or perhaps they can give us some extra DLC for SteamWorld Dig 2?
Super Comboman: Smash Edition is a fun button masher that will keep you busy for several hours. The gameplay is not mindblowing nor genre-defining, but it doesn't have to be. Every now and then a game like this is what you need to cleanse your palate from other experiences, so if you're a fan of 2D action/platformers this one might be exactly what you need.
All in all with both games included, all DLC, new music, upgraded visuals and more, the Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker pack on Nintendo Switch is a release that I highly recommend you buy. The gameplay mechanics and story are very entertaining, and having both games in a single release is very convenient. If you're a fan of the beloved Mega Man series, then you need to give this one a go today!
Pankapu certainly has a lot to offer on PlayStation 4, with a great looking presentation, fun gameplay mechanics and plenty of action. I'm always happy when a game that was funded on Kickstarter manages to release, and I'm even happier when a game funded on Kickstarter is actually good. I had fun with Pankapu and look forward to the next release from Too Kind Studios and Plug In Digital.
I was very impressed by the ingenuity of the game. The developer clearly knows what he is doing and has done it superbly. The game is very polished, not just in its graphics but in its gameplay, and offers a solid workout for your brain. Still Time is a cross-buy release, so you'll end up getting it for PS4 and Vita with a single purchase, and I have to say it's definitely worthy of your time and money! I loved this game, and I look forward to seeing what Alan Zucconi does next!
Overall, I had time with Iron Crypticle, especially once I started to get better at the game. You'll need to play this one over and over again to be able to survive for longer during your subsequent runs, so be sure to stick with the game for a bit!
FMV games are back in full swing, so this is the perfect time to dive into one that is now part of gaming history. Kudos to Screaming Villains for their work on the game since the footage has been considerably revamped giving us the definitive version of the game.
Overall Planet of the Eyes is a fun puzzle/platformer with a good sci-fi push.
All in all, Robonauts is a good looking game with catchy electronic tunes and a nice variety of weapons and enemies. Once you get the hang of the controllers, you'll be quickly moving around each spherical mass as you defeat any enemies on your path. Be sure to give this one a try!
Shiny visuals, decent enough audio and sharp controls can't rescue Agents of Mayhem from an average review. While it's not worth buying at full price, once it drops to $20 or under it'll certainly be worth a consideration. Hopefully, by then the developer will have implemented some form of online play.

Winjammers is a very fun and addictive game and one that is worth every penny on PlayStation 4. The game still holds up even after all these years, and at $15 it offers us everything tht made the game a fun arcade release back in 1994 along with a full trophy with a Platinum trophy, and now online multiplayer along with the local versus options from back in the day.
Neptune Flux is an OK experience with some nice touches, sounds, and environments. What was weird is that I had some motion sickness when playing the game – the first time this happened to me while playing a PS VR game on my PS4 Pro. But in the end, this was not a deal-breaker as it only took me a moment to recover. All in all Neptune Flux is a release that gives PS VR owners something new to experience on this virtual reality hardware, but due to the game's length, I think you should pick it up during a sale.
Time Recoil is a game that is easy to recommend. The game's interesting and fun gameplay mechanics, solid gameplay and many goals to complete will keep you entertained from start to finish, and the more you play, the better you'll become so that you can improve your overall score and time. 10tons has given us a good PlayStation 4 game, and I look forward to playing JYDGE soon!
All in all Dark Mystery is cute but challenging 2D platforming release on PS4 that has its pros and cons. The floaty jump might get in the way of some of you, but once you get the hang of things you'll realize it's not a deal-breaker. If you're searching for a challenging 2D platformer, then this might be what you need to scratch that itch.
Last Day of June is a cinematic game in which not a single word is spoken. It is a meticulously hand-crafted experience with a very colorful and charming look that will grab your attention from the moment the title screen pops up. It is a tale of love and loss that will keep you coming back for more until the end, and one of the best games on PlayStation 4.
Final Thoughts Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA is one of our favorite releases this year, along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo Switch), and Persona 5. We highly recommend this game for players looking for a good-sized 50+ hours of adventure. You'll also dig the soundtrack as Falcom outdid themselves with this release.
And then, there are the game's trophies. The good news is that there is a shiny Platinum trophy to reward you for your effort. The bad news is that there are several tricky trophies in this list. You will get trophies for things such as killing three enemies with a single grenade, completing each level in the game, collecting drone parts, unlocking upgrades, completing the game, and completing the game without getting any of the upgrades. You know, the usual.
I definitely recommend Piczle Lines DX to Nintendo Switch owners who are looking for an easy to play and fun puzzle game on Nintendo's hybrid console. There are over 300+ puzzles to do with more on the way, so you'll be spending a ton of time drawing lines all over the place as you enjoy some relaxing puzzle action.
