Pool Panic is a single-player and multiplayer release on Nintendo Switch that is a lot of fun. Its art style, quirky gameplay mechanics and the great variety of “pool tables” you'll be taking on will keep you busy for a long time, especially if you want to 100% the game. The game is available digitally for only $14.99 and is certainly worth the price of admission.
It took me about 20 hours to complete the game, and boy was it worth it! The game has a fun story with great characters which will make you laugh and connect with them. The golf mechanics, aside from putting, were great, and the game is packed to the brim with lots of content and extra things to do. This game is an easy one to recommend to fellow Nintendo Switch owners since it's one of the must-have
Happy Birthdays is a very colorful and highly addictive game in which you can experience a condensed version of the evolutionary process that has gotten us to this point in history – you know, minus the dragons and other mythical creatures. Having played the PlayStation 4 version for review, and after playing this new and revised version for the Nintendo Switch, I'm happy to report that it feels and plays great when playing at home or in Portable or Tabletop mode. This is a game that, in my opinion, is definitely worth a double dip, especially since you now get to enjoy it everywhere and at any time.
Die for Valhalla! is a game that is easy to recommend on PlayStation 4. The way the game looks and feels is great, the gameplay mechanics are fun and the difficulty options allow players new to the genre or those with some considerable experience to dive into a great adventure. Which class will you select for your journey?
The game feels rushed and a bit unfinished At its core, it's got some good mechanics, but there is not enough content on offer between the career and exhibition modes, and the fact that it's hard to find other players online. I think this could be a more polished product with some updates.
As you can tell from my review, I loved crafting my own Jurassic World parks and hatching the many dinosaurs in the game. My kids were also amazed by the dinosaurs I was creating from the genome my expeditions found. The presentation of this game is top-notch, and includes many different easy to understand mini-games that will help you make your park better. I definitively recommend you to try this game on PlayStation 4!
As I said before, Devious Dungeon is a very addictive game that I'm sure you're going to love. It's very fun to play, looks great, has more than enough content for its asking price, is a cross-buy PS4 and PS Vita release and it offers you a chance to get a double Platinum, so you're getting quite the bargain!
I LOVED playing through Detroit: Become Human, and I highly recommend you to purchase it since it's one of the best games you can get on PS4!
Octocopter: Double or Squids is a colorful and vibrant game that is fun to play on Nintendo Switch at home or on the go. The controls are flawless, and the short tutorial will get you going in no time, so you'll know that when you hit a wall or fall into a trap, it's your fault and not the game's. This one is short but fun, so if you don't mind a game where gameplay is the focus and a story is not what you need, then you should give this one a go.
Tanzia is a good game on Nintendo Switch, with polished and colorful graphics, a solid story and plenty of content to enjoy. It pays homage to the open world design of games such as World of Warcraft, and the gameplay mechanics and feel of the 3D entries in The Legend of Zelda series (pre-Breath of the Wild), for a game that in the end does its own thing and that you should definitely check out on Nintendo Switch.
The Path of Motus is a fun puzzle platformer with an interesting way of presenting us with an anti-bullying message. The game has a solid art style, entertaining logic-based puzzles, and a story in which you will engage with different stages of Motus' life to better understand what is going on in this world of his. If you're looking for a different type of game, then be sure to check The Path of Motus on PlayStation 4!
The Lost Child has a lot to offer, with its fun battles and gameplay mechanics, gorgeous hand-drawn graphics, deadly bosses and an interesting story as well. A lot of love was poured into the game, and it really shows. So if you're a fan of dungeon crawlers, and don't mind massive visual novel length walls of text here and there, then you should definitely give The Lost Child a go!
The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1: A Dreadly Business is a fun point and click adventure game on Nintendo Switch that is easy to recommend with its great looking graphics, charming characters, great voice acting and fun and simple puzzles. This is a short one but one you should definitely play, and I look forward to checking out the second episode later this year.
If you're into difficult platformers, then Fabraz and Headup Games have made a perfect game for you with Slime-san. If it weren't for the fact that it tired my eyes so quickly, it would've made it in my must-play titles. There's a lot of content to enjoy, the challenge is there, and all the extra stuff included with the Superslime Edition makes it an even better bundle that's more than worth playing.
The Lion's Song is now out on Nintendo Switch and it is a must buy. This adventure game/visual novel release has a charming cast of character, an emotional set of stories and an interesting look, for a combination that will keep you engaged from start to finish. After playing this one, I look forward to seeing what
Overall, Pato Box is a solid effort from Mexican indie Bromio, and a welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch library. It pays homage to the Punch-Out!! series while doing its own thing with a very interesting art style that reminded me of MadWorld on Nintendo Wii, which is definitely a good thing since that's a great looking game on Nintendo's “two generations ago” console! Your mileage with Pato Box might vary depending on how on board you are with having to finish a level before being able to take on a boss fight, but if you give this one a chance hopefully you're going to appreciate what Bromio has done on Nintendo's hybrid console.
Garage is a nice homage to the B-movies of the 1980s, with some top-down action that is not as over the top as other entries in the genre (think Hotline Miami). I had fun during my time with the game, and hopefully you'll give this one a change on Nintendo Switch.
As you can tell from our review, we're both big fans of platforming games like the beloved Rayman series, so playing Runbow for our review was a blast! The single and multiplayer experiences are quite fun and lengthy, so even if you're a fan of only one or the other, you'll find more than enough in this game to have fun. And if you happen to like playing solo and multiplayer, you've hit the jackpot with this game since its only $15!
Wizard of Legend is a great roguelike with a different feel form the other ones I have played. The game doesn't do a lot of hand-holding and because everything is procedurally generated it can make it quite difficult to master. But if you figure out how to maximize the game's loop then you are in for a treat. Be sure to check this one out!
The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is a different type of mystery game thanks to its theme, gameplay mechanics and FMV segments. This is a long game that will take you around 8 hours or so to complete, and even longer if you want to add another Platinum trophy to your collection, since you'll need to ask hundreds of questions, as well as find the real killer of Doctor Dekker. I had a blast playing the game since I've now become a fan of FMV games, and I look forward to seeing what new FMV game Wales Interactive gives us next.
