It's totally possible to be intrigued by what Hungry Shark World has to offer on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. It's a simple game with easily understandable mechanics. Sadly, progression is quite laborious and dull, and outdated visuals and loading times are definitely not helping.

In 2016, Playdead has delivered a masterpiece of a game to the world. Most accomplished and thrilling than Limbo, Inside can now be enjoyed everywhere on the Nintendo Switch. Basically, it's the same game, which is certainly not a fault. We're now anticipating what will come next from the brilliant minds of the danish studio.

This new DLC that takes us to Mars has a Hurk. It's cool if you like this talkative and dumb character, science fiction and jetpacks. However, it's not enough to have good fun on a shallow map full of generic quests and Ubitowers we thought disapparead with Far Cry 5.

Compilation of two visual novels that came out 10 year ago in Japan, Muv-Luv offers some pleasant adventures in which you will enjoy trying to seduce girls close to your avatar, even if their designs feel a bit old and games a bit repetitive.

The Spectrum Retreat is full of good ideas and mysteries, but Dan Smith's first game is way too linear while playing the walking simulator card to please every amateur of the genre. Too many clues are given about the delicate subject being treated, but the core mecanics of dozen of color-based puzzles might be good enough to give it a go. With just a bit more coherence between the gameplay and the narrative, it could have been memorable.

This first DLC for Far Cry 5 never really delivers. It is a short and very generic experience that forgets that Far Cry is able to please us and make us forget some flaws by counting not only on its setting but also on its story and characters. And nothing that could help us feel involved is here. It's just a short and uninspired DLC with some forgettable mechanics.

Ocotpath Traveler is a strong entry to the old-school J-RPG genre, even though its classicism may forbid it to reach the greatest titles its taking inspiration from. As simple as solid, this retro adventure features enough mecanics to offer a deep fighting system, well-balanced and which brillantly avoids countless levelling sessions. Too bad Octopath Traveler's narrative simply serves us eight not-so-much-connected stories, otherwise it could have been an instant classic.

Just like Captain Toad, if you can't jump, you'd better use your brain. This down-to-earth approach transforms the environments into puzzles that require to look harder - and dig deeper - than expected in order to find all of their design treasures. And despite a lack of additional content, such wonders get even shinier on Switch.

With Lumines Remastered the 2004 PSP game makes a maginificent return. Gameplay, visuals and music, that are intimately intertwined, are dope. And Rumble HD, that you can apply to other Joy-Cons, is a great to feel everything that this puzzle game with a lot of content - but no online game, sorry - has to offer.

Well, why did Sega decides to port Shining Resonance to our European consoles instead of Valkyria Chronicles or Phantasy Star Online 2, no one will ever know. However, what we do know is that Shining Resonance is your average J-RPG with your average team of anime-looking main protagonists fighting with the power of songs and friendship. An enjoyable but quite forgettable experience.

A year or so after the release of Sonic Mania, here comes Sonic Mania Plus, a version that adds new stuff like 2 more playable characters - Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the squirrel (who is not very pleasant), a competition mode for 4 players and more importantly Bis Mode that let us discover redesigned levels, great for those who know the original by heart. And it's still an extraordinary platformer for the blue hedgehog's fans.

Even if it can feel like an update of the previous edition with very few new things, Pro Cycling Manager 2018 brings more smoothness to the entire gameplay and some efficient new features that can easily let us be absorbed in its ProCyclist Mode. [Olivier Cortinovis separately reviewed the PC (8) and PS4/XB1 (6) versions. Their scores have been averaged.]

Wreckfest is out of its early access, but there is still work to do, especially to give it a real "soul" in solo mode. It is far above all the competition in rendering physical damage on cars. On PC, he avails of the work of a very active community. Thanks to this, it offers hours of discoveries and online racing. Bugbear will probably work hard to deliver much stuff on the PC version and then an interesting console release by the end of the year.

Those familiar with the LEGO franchise won't be disoriented. LEGO The Incredibles is a fun game to explore and controlling the Pixar characters each with their own abilities can be really enjoyable. Alas, the game is not very challenging, especially when it comes to fight several minions by simply press the same button, and the main adventure is quite short.

Wolfenstein II on Nintendo Switch is an impressive port, as soon as you play it on portable mode and not on TV mode.

Sushi Striker suffers only one major concern on Nintendo Switch; it is not suitable for gaming in the living room and on a big screen. Designed to be tactile, the best way to play it will be in nomadic mode. This problem aside, we are in front of a good puzzle game that has been carefully developed by Indieszero. A great way to kill time.

Donkey Kong Adventure is a worthy addition to the Kingdom Battle experience. The DLC's universe is a fun and colorful as the original game's while the new characters and battles add some freshness to the mix. We hope it's not the last we hear from Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Cranky.

Unravel Two appears to be a real treat for your eyes and ears, as well as its predecessor. The possibility to control two Yarnys, alone or with a friend, is a real addition to this poetic journey. The seven levels of the main story can be completed really fast but the extra missions extend the experience for the players seeking for some challenge.
