Just like hopeful rookies tend to imitate the champions' playing styles, possibly under the influence of ill-advised coaches, Tennis World Tour can make an impression. Because with hard work, good results come, then even prestigious sponsors as this Roland Garros Edition shows. But neither money nor efforts replace the talent and expertise needed to develop a really authentic approach - the secret of the greatests - hence Breakpoint's production appears limited to the role of a sympathetic (though expensive) sparring-partner, while waiting for better.

Blade Arcus Rebellion from Shining is a pretty decent and good fighting game that erases the errors of its predecessor.

Total War : Three Kingdoms is not the best episode of the saga but the treatment of the historical period of the Three Kingdoms is extremely well handled by The Creative Assembly team. It is unfortunate that the technical part (the graphics engine) is pouring out the content. It's time to change it.

Rage 2 is a satisfying FPS. Even if if the whole weapon and powers' package feel generous in order to fight dozens and dozens of enemies, campaign feels very short, and its world is not what we can call very lively and full of interesting things to do.

Observation delivers an interesting thriller story sets in space, through the eyes of SAM, the AI of a lost station. Fascinating until the very end, the story will appreciates itself only if you accept to endure cryptic puzzles and ever changing rules, in a labyrinth that can really drive you crazy.

A bit different from the previous episodes in terms of tone, Wasteland is a very pleasant crossroad for Life is Strange 2, with some very interesting characters, a good evolution of Sean and Daniel's relationship, heartbreaking choices to make and a shocking ending that promises a lot for what's coming next.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection is a true gift for the long-running series :with eight great games to give the players a global look at what made those games classics. With modern tools like quick saves and decent filters, any fan of the Belmont family should here find a good reason to get back the old whip.

Way too repetitive and dull in its level design and gameplay mechanics, Lapis x Labyrinth fails to be as engaging as it looks. So unless you're a loot-addict, this dungeon-crawler from Nippon Ichi Software is not worth the try.

Team Sonic Racing gives players a whole new take on the "Kart Racer" genre thanks to its team gameplay mechanic. It works and it allows less skilled players to enjoy competing against other human players. It's just too bad that SUMO got rid of the transformations and the SEGA All-Stars...

Puyo Puyo Champions, as its name suggests, first addresses the most passionate who will have the audacity and ability to play it online against fierce opponents. However, despite its multiplayer focus, this new Puyo Puyo is still home to the jovial and fun puzzle game it has always been, in its most fun, colorful and cute look on this date.

Close to the Sun has a huge potential. Supported by a technique of good quality, it however lacks dynamism. The fault of very slow movements and a gameplay that requires that we agree to walk to the discovery of clues more present to define an atmosphere, than to advance in the story. Not quite adventure game, not quite FPS either, it does not take clear enough direction to stand out. Nevertheless, it will satisfy the fans of the genre who do not have much to play at the moment.

Saints Row The Third, like many games from the past generation, made its way to the Switch. And it appears unfotunatly technically very old. Nevertheless, Saints Row remains to be fun and a good punching bag.

Mordhau is a slap in the face and a pleasure at every moment. Much more than a spiritual sequel to Chivalry, it's an exciting game. Deep, easy to understand but hard to master, it's a breath of fresh air for video games.

By playing for the second time the mythology card, Ubosft delivers a strong, deep, and mostly beautiful extension for last year's greek odyssey. Switching between Layla and Kassandra/Alexios might be tedious in the begenning, but the gorgeous environment awaiting is worth the effort, thanks to an interesting plot, free exploration and a very correct length.

With Fade to Silence, Black Forest Games was undoubtedly willing to offer a title with a unique atmosphere at the crossroads of influences dear to hardcore players, eager for ruthless survival mechanisms and mute narrative. Unfortunately, by trying do to too much, this RPG survival does not convince in any of its aspects, offering a repetitive experience, technically very limited and painful.

While Deponia still remains a satisfying experience, this Switch edition is quite disappointing. Far too much expensive, as the Steam version of the game is nearly free today, it also contains some graphic or major glitches. Also, where are the sequels ?

Venture Kid tries so much to pay tribute to the old 8 bit games, starting with Mega Man, that it got lost along the way. Without any original content to show, this mobile game delivers nothing new on PC or Switch, and lacks the length or level design of the great games it constantly quotes.
