Halo Infinite recovers all the epicness of the first installments in a title that seems to want to act as a connection with the future of the saga.

Big Brain Adademy returns with an instalment that emphasises its multiplayer part, but falls short both in terms of options and content. What is available is good, but it is also insufficient at a time when it is easy to find more interesting proposals, both in terms of mental training and in terms of the party games catalogue. It's not a bad game, but it doesn't go beyond the minimum required.

Solar Ash does not hide his influences, moreover, he becomes strong in them. Do not expect an indie of those who seek to revolutionize classic proposals, rather it is the opposite. It is a title that knows how to mix with success some of the most interesting ingredients of the video games that serve as inspiration. But most of all, it's a remarkable three-dimensional platformer, and that's always good news.

Battlefield 2042 was a ship that I was looking forward to and from a distance it seemed that the journey was going to be long and different from what I had known so far. But the ship arrived and then I realized that perhaps it was not coming for me, but I was desperately looking for a port to dock so as not to sink. I don't recommend buying Battlefield 2042 during its release.

Although the park management and customization aspects are a bit superficial, Jurassic World Evolution 2 has tons of great dinosaurs and exciting ways to interact with them.

Overall, it feels like a game that doesn't want to disturb and has no soul of its own.

Shin Megami Tensei V is a return through the big door. A delivery that modernizes the saga without depriving it of its flavor, its delicious roughness, or levels of demand that contribute decisively to draw an experience with character. Combat and high-flying exploration to enjoy for dozens of hours.

A great way to use cards for everything (playing and storytelling), while embarking on an old-school RPG adventure. However, Yoko Taro's magic is only found in small glimpses.

Riders Republic manages to be what it sets out to do: a fun, addictive arcade extreme sports video game with a lot of expansion potential. A completely recommended experience whose future is in the hands of Ubisoft's ability to make it grow.

A new Mario Party is always good news for anyone who likes a few games at home in the company of friends. So, as usual, fun is guaranteed. But this installment gives off a degree of sloppiness that takes it too far away from the latest iteration of the franchise. Its value is subject to the desire you have to rediscover the mini-games it brings back. As a whole, the previous installment is far above.

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water is back. That's good news, and while it's not the best in the series, I've enjoyed it like crazy. It still retains the authenticity of the franchise, which makes it a more than valid option for anyone who wants to approach a slightly different survival horror that has a unique approach, but at the same time tastes like a classic.

A few months ago, Humankind was presented as a candidate to become the benchmark of turn-based strategy for the next few years. Now, with a similar love for the story, but with a different tone, Age of Empires IV arrives to reposition the franchise in the Olympus of RTS. A title that knows how to pick up and update the essence of the saga, and that is the basis of a resurgence that seems to have a long life ahead of it. If you like the genre, clear your diaries.

Eidos Montréal gives us one of the most interesting narrative games of recent times, always taking advantage of the medium's own tools to narrate. Knowledge and affection for the characters, entertaining combat, incessant surprises... one of the best of the year.

The formula works and is fun, even if it begs for a little more interaction. One of the best installments of the anthology so far.

Fun, addictive and mysterious. It superbly mixes concepts from card games with roguelike and escape rooms. A continuous surprise that sneaks among the most interesting independent games of the year.

The Good Life is a play by Swery, for better and for worse. His personality emanates and shares particularities: outdated technical and mechanical problems, but with that magical aura. If you like the author, jump in without fear. Important: it is not translated into Spanish.
