A great way to use cards for everything (playing and storytelling), while embarking on an old-school RPG adventure. However, Yoko Taro's magic is only found in small glimpses.

Riders Republic manages to be what it sets out to do: a fun, addictive arcade extreme sports video game with a lot of expansion potential. A completely recommended experience whose future is in the hands of Ubisoft's ability to make it grow.

A new Mario Party is always good news for anyone who likes a few games at home in the company of friends. So, as usual, fun is guaranteed. But this installment gives off a degree of sloppiness that takes it too far away from the latest iteration of the franchise. Its value is subject to the desire you have to rediscover the mini-games it brings back. As a whole, the previous installment is far above.

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water is back. That's good news, and while it's not the best in the series, I've enjoyed it like crazy. It still retains the authenticity of the franchise, which makes it a more than valid option for anyone who wants to approach a slightly different survival horror that has a unique approach, but at the same time tastes like a classic.

A few months ago, Humankind was presented as a candidate to become the benchmark of turn-based strategy for the next few years. Now, with a similar love for the story, but with a different tone, Age of Empires IV arrives to reposition the franchise in the Olympus of RTS. A title that knows how to pick up and update the essence of the saga, and that is the basis of a resurgence that seems to have a long life ahead of it. If you like the genre, clear your diaries.

Eidos Montréal gives us one of the most interesting narrative games of recent times, always taking advantage of the medium's own tools to narrate. Knowledge and affection for the characters, entertaining combat, incessant surprises... one of the best of the year.

The formula works and is fun, even if it begs for a little more interaction. One of the best installments of the anthology so far.

Fun, addictive and mysterious. It superbly mixes concepts from card games with roguelike and escape rooms. A continuous surprise that sneaks among the most interesting independent games of the year.

The Good Life is a play by Swery, for better and for worse. His personality emanates and shares particularities: outdated technical and mechanical problems, but with that magical aura. If you like the author, jump in without fear. Important: it is not translated into Spanish.

Far Cry 6 keeps the spirit of the saga but seeks to innovate with new mechanics that try to leave behind what no longer works or tires the player.

Metroid Dread is pure love for the franchise. It takes the elements of the classic 2D games and unites them with the evolving essence of Metroid Fusion, introducing many others that work perfectly. It doesn't give off such a magical aura and there are things to improve, but it establishes itself as one of the best games on the console.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is pure nostalgia, but one that does not disappoint. A fantastic remastering work, which respects to the maximum consequences the essence of the original game. That is the only one that new players will find: a hard experience that shows the passage of time.

FIFA 22 incorporates enough novelties in its game system to vary the rhythm of the matches and improve the experience. A great simulator, punctuated by the importance of microtransactions and the absence of major developments in its different modalities.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is the embodiment of a dream shared by thousands of people from different generations. It is difficult not to get carried away by the child that we all carry inside us and enjoy with each car, curve and jump ... but it is a dream that may end soon if those responsible choose the path of microtransactions and loot boxes.

NBA 2K22 continues to set the standard for gameplay, with changes this year that ensure a much more realistic and satisfying pace of play. But it's the same old story: it's one of the most aggressive games in the industry when it comes to micropayments, and its star modes can't be enjoyed unless you're willing to pay.

Lost Judgment is the best work without discussion by Toshihiro Nagoshi. What began with Shenmue and Yakuza takes on special importance in a delivery that polishes all the details to become something very special whose criticism and argument will conquer your complicity as a player.

Those of us who love to get into the game, learn more about its world and eavesdrop, read emails on terminals and rack our brains to get into places without being shot at, are in luck: with Deathloop we have a great game for a while.

Lost in Random is a title of adventure and brave action, which constantly seeks its own form of expression as far as the action is concerned, and that along the way accumulates many successes and some other but. It presents a dark and interesting universe, which constantly flirts with humor and children's terror, achieving a tone that will delight fantasy lovers. He compensates for his lack of finesse in combat with the riskiness of his proposal and with some dialogues that will bring you more than a smile.
