It is a 10-hour experience that's very difficult in the first part, but later parts are cranks up the fun factor. Beware though, first time you play consider reducing the difficulty one level lower from your usual selection.

If you're missing X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter or Wing Commander series, this is your game. If you don't know anything about them, you're in for a treat because you'll love dogfights in space. It has flaws, but provides a remarkable experience.

In highest settings, it will still melt the insides of your PC and if I was rating it based on its ability to do just that, it would get a "12 out of 10" from me. As a game and a remaster though, it gets a mere 6.

If I was stranded on a deserted island, I'd bring some roguelike games with me and BPM: Bullets Per Minute would definitely be one of my choices. But if I could pick only one game, then I'd think long and hard before choosing BPM.

It's written in your destiny that if you want a long and immersive journey in a brand new fantasy world, you'll play this game sooner or later. But if you fulfilled that destiny 8 years ago with the original Kingdoms of Amalur, you won't be seeing much differences in this remake.
