Despite its problems, SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption remains quite entertaining, especially for fans of the Dark Souls Series, who will surely love the challenges. However, its short duration and lack of content, coupled with its price, may end up driving away those who seek more cost-effective experiences.

Requiem is a poor collection, without relevant extras and permeated by technical problems. The drawbacks should displease enthusiasts of the series, however the two games are perfectly playable. In short, the port is bad, but the games are great. If Castlevania is an important series for you, it is worth revisiting in order to secure that special platinum trophy on your gamer resume.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is pure excellence and a milestone for open world games. Sprawling details and superb ambiance, Rockstar Games' title is the definitive version of a Wild West game. The creation of the world, characters and the technical quality presented will perpetuate for years, just as its predecessor did.

83 / 100 - Call of Cthulhu
Nov 2, 2018

Call of Cthulhu is a game that deserves attention. With interesting gameplay mechanics and a story that surpasses the technical issues, the game manages to keep the player engaged into solving the mistery. The possibility of having different endings will make the player go on an adventure again on the island of Darkwater. Call of Cthulhu deserves to be investigated in 2018.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a fun game that, bluntly, delivers intense space battles and exploration of fun and curious worlds. Its difficulty could be a little higher and the variety of villains more diverse, but this is not a demerit at all.

With a nice story, nice visuals and fun gameplay, Space Hulk: Tactics is a good game that fails only on its awful AI and some issues with its controls, but it still offers a good experience for fans of Warhammer 40K and Tactical RPGs.

Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition is undoubtedly one of the best games inspired by the Dark Souls franchise. Its developer was able to perfectly capture the essence of the so famous series by delivering a work with a deep narrative, fun gameplay and fantastic visuals. Its huge amount of content will surely steal many hours from those who wish to venture into their universe full of secrets.

The Heist is a DLC that seems incomplete. The story is interesting, but it ends up a bit too soon and therefore without any conclusion. We know there are two others DLCs on the way, but there is a feeling that an arc of the plot hasn't been finalized. In addition, the main missions and side activities are quite similar to the base game, presenting little or no novelty in the gameplay. It's worth it because it's more Spider-Man, but do not expect something really interesting.

87 / 100 - Home Sweet Home
Oct 28, 2018

Home Sweet Home shows that graphics are unnecessary for a game to be great. With a lot of dark places, scary enemies and VR support, the title is a highlight on its genre, making you play with the lights on.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is undoubtedly an outstanding FPS. The game presents excellent graphics, a lot of known game modes - but with some novelties, a gameplay that grips the player and it still manages to add the battle royale in a convincent way. Black Ops 4 hits the bullseye.

My Hero One's Justice is a good and fun arena fighter and a worthy debut for the popular Shonen Jump series on the PS4, specially when considering the amount of modes and options it has, even if it doesn't bring anything new to genre.

82 / 100 - WWE 2K19
Oct 25, 2018

WWE 2K19 is 2K's best wrestling game in the last few years, with many good changes in comparison to prior games with an astounding amount of content. MyCareer mode's story, the Showcase mode and 2K Towers deliver a lot of content that, with the great in-ring action, entertains for a long time, specially for the promotion's fans.

Even though NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is fun on the court, the lack of content to enhance its shelf life, the connectivity issues in online matches and the constant feeling that the game could be better without the way the microtransactions were implemented keep it from reaching its potential.

95 / 100 - SoulCalibur VI
Oct 21, 2018

SoulCalibur VI is an excellent fighting game and it reignites the flame of this wonderful series. The gameplay is fantastic and the online mode is also very good. The single-player mode has plenty of content and the character-creation mode continues to please. Geralt was a great choice of a guest character, too. The negative point goes to the story mode told in the form of text or dialogues (it lacks the production that Tekken 7 received). Other negative points are the absence of some fan favorite characters, and the few new ones (only two, besides Geralt).

The Surge's new expansion wastes a theme that could be better enjoyed, especially if it worked the same way as in A Walk in the Park. An arena mode creates just another opportunity to take advantage of the good gameplay that The Surge has, but adds nothing for the veterans players of the game, maybe the intended audience for this content.

Scribblenauts Mega Pack includes two games from the innovative series that are quite distinct, despite having similar gameplay. Unlimited offers the basics, with you creating objects in a direct way and helping people with what they need. Unmasked offers a deeper storyline with DC characters, with more varied challenges and more open missions. If you like puzzles, Scribblenauts Mega Pack can be a great option.

After all these years of fans claiming for a Greek mythology game in the series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey makes the wait worthwhile. While it stumbles trying to implement many systems at the same time, the whole is still bigger than the sum of its parts and all of its great moments make this a journey worth of its own epic poem.
