War Tech Fighters is a mecha game that is kind of fun, even if it can't reach its potential because of a series of issues that affect even what the game does best.

Bloodstained was made to satisfy fans demands for a new Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and Ritual of the Night is an excellent spiritual sucessor and a great starting point for a new series.

Using its unique visual style to attract the player, Super Cane Magic ZERO delivers a surprisingly deep and fun experience that is even better with other players, even if a few problems keep it from being a better game.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a great and challenging karting game. Due to its unique drift system, there is plenty of space for you to devote some time into mastering the title. The content is also great, bringing the tracks from Crash Nitro Kart. However, there are some problems, like online with lag and getting items in the in-game store may require a lot of time. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is considerably challenging, which can frustrate many players and at the same time please others.

Dragon Star Varnir shows that Compile Heart/Idea Factory have developers with great ideas, but lack the resources to fully elaborate them. It's a good game, but it gives the impression that it could have been much more if it reached its full potential.

Dollhouse can offer some jump scares, but with the confuse story and a gameplay that doesn't work very well, you could be frustrated.

Atelier Lulua is a great follow-up to one of the most beloved trilogies in the Atelier series and a great addition to Gust's portfolio of games. Fans of the original trilogy will have an adventure filled with nostalgia due to the characters and places that will be immediately recognizable. Lulua, although it is a follow-up, does a great job to receive new players carefully explaning the game's systems and gradually giving more freedom to the player.

Effie is a fine action and 3D platform game. The combat is bad, but the platform part is good. Do not expect complexity, though. Effie is a simple title, either because of its story or difficulty.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is, honestly, one of the best JRPGs ever released for the PS4. The way the game handles a story even more mature than its predecessor and the connection the player has with the characters, which are very well-developed, and the turn-based combat system perfectly tuned make it a true masterpiece.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning has an interesting premise, although it doesn't reach its full potential. Danganronpa fans will find a fun game and characters with lots of charm.

Ghost Giant is an exciting game that will surely touch the hearts of those who venture into its universe, thanks to its brilliant storyline and excellent gameplay. Its only problem is the absence of the replay factor, that could bring the player for a new round.

RAGE 2 has an amazing battle system, but it gives the player few opportunities to properly use it. The open world and its elements aren't well used and, in the worst cases, prevent the game to show its true potential.

Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz is one of the few japanese investigation games we'll see in this generation. Whether you like it or not, it's part of an interesting niche and I'd recommend this one more to those fans than the public in general.

Team Sonic Racing is a fun kart game. There are different modes, it has interesting team mechanics and its gameplay is enjoyable. However, because of the team system, it can be frustrating in many cases to depend on the CPU if you do not have friends.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection is, without a doubt, an emulator inside the PS4. I consider this a very positive point, since the aesthetics and format are maintained, preserving bugs and abnormalities of the games from that time. It may not be an attractive collection for new buyers because it is restricted. I do not understand why the save is unique to each title and many of them can be played with different characters, codes, and directions in the story. Despite pulling on nostalgia, it could have more features, such as a music player and fun emulation options.

World End Syndrome may fool you or even goes by unnoticed in a year full of new visual novels on consoles, but after giving it a fair shot, it manages to be the best of the year so far.

The combination of the very fun core gameplay, visual spectacle and loot festival makes Lapis x Labyrinth a game that surpasses its shallow script and overall repetition to motivate the player to go where no other adventurer has ever gone.

Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown is a game that works as a good example that there is still a lot of potential to be tapped by the developers on the PlayStation VR. It's a must have for the headset owners, fans of RPG and board games.

Full of good intentions to show a harsh reality, Massira can be touching and lovely, even if the visual style, technical limitations and gameplay may say otherwise. The message that we need to be better human beings is still understood despite all the flaws that the game has.
