Spider-Man is easily one of the best superhero games of all time. The gameplay is great, whether in combat or while swinging throughout the New York buildings. The story is also well built. However, the "human" parts, when we control Peter Parker and Mary Jane for example, are weak and break the rhythm. Luckily, those parts are a minority and do not ruin the experience as a whole. Spider-Man is a must have game.

Immortal: Unchained is a reasonable game. It brings graphics presentation that does not impress and an uninteresting story. The gameplay mechanics similar to the Souls franchise end up catching your attention, but the technical problems ruin the game experience.

Despite keeping last year's terrible decision to force players to buy into microtransactions, NBA 2K19 is still the king of sports games. The matches are better than ever and there are enough alternatives for those who don't want to spend a dime over the game's price, even if they are not ideal. You'll still feel like you're in the courts of the best basketball league in the world.

Nefarious is a game that could have made a big impact if its developers had paid attention to certain elements of game design. Regardless of its problems, it remains a fun platform game with great ideas, especially when the moody plot is taken into consideration.

Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner MARS is better recommended to those that have never played the game or want to enjoy its campaign with the VR mode. It is an excellent action game with great combat mechanics.

With a learning curve that mixes well challenge and reward, a very fun story mode, a fantastic creation suite and a great variety of match styles to keep you coming back, Fire Pro Wrestling is one of the best games this sport has ever seen.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is exactly what the game needed in virtually every aspect. The improvement in economy, activities, rewards and endgame are excellent and, along with a very good story, the title is able to keep players interested for much longer. However, Bungie and Activision must rethink the strategy used to force players to buy content that does not interest them and do not have much in-game value.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is an extremely casual fighting game. It seeks to simplify the mechanics of the King of Fighters series to make them simpler and with random elements, like items. In the end, this will not please any type of player. The customization of the girls is quite considerable, but there are many limitations. The rest of the game does not please either. Acquire it only if you are a fan of SNK, but take notice that you may be disappointed.

Blade Strangers is a great fighting game that seeks simplicity in its commands and, perhaps for the first time, has accomplished this. The graphics are attractive and the characters are cool, especially the guests. Online mode is also functional, including with people from different regions. The story mode, however, is somewhat bad (though each character has its own novel visual style plot) and maybe not everyone will approve the simplicity in the commands. Unfortunately, there is still hope that the online mode will not become deserted, since it is a niche title.

Despite the different setting, interesting environmental puzzles and the creative party-splitting mechanic, Haunted Dungeons: Hyakki Castle fails in several basic aspects, with repetitive and tedious combat, weak story and a total inability to keep you interested in the game.

Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker has a good proposal in bringing the 4 player team missions of the manga/anime to the video games. But what could be a fun co-op online game, ends up falling into the sameness of the genre, bringing very little variety and content for players to keep playing the game.

PES 2019 is a great soccer game, has excellent graphics and great gameplay, but it is still evolving and needs improving in some ways to be considered THE soccer game. The lack of licenses and innovations weighs on the purchase decision for those who have the previous version. Playing PES 2019 can be a lot of fun, especially for online and local multiplayer, but for the lonely player there are some modes missing and the challenges end quickly.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is an excellent action and adventure title. The stealth mechanics present are great, the possibilities of approach are also very good and the technical part deserves all the compliments possible. The graphics are amazing and the sound effects are one of the best I have ever experienced on PS4. These two factors combined create a simply incredible ambience. Finally, the optional content continues to be quite vast. However, the story isn't so great, as well as certain side quests.

Planet Alpha is an interesting game. Its gameplay is extremely simple whereas its graphics presentation is excellent. Although it does not bring an appealing story to the player, it is the group of elements which makes you want to travel to the planet and visit it.

Even considering the mediocre soundtrack, the return of the Dragon Quest main series on a PlayStation platform could not be more special. The eleventh edition of the franchise is exceptional and complete. Not only the best way to revisit a beloved genre in recent times, Dragon Quest XI is also a fantastic game - perhaps one of the best of 2018.

Despite being fun and having some good moments on its story, Shadows: Awakening ends up being a boring experience after some time, preventing it from being as interesting as it could be.

Far Cry 5's latest expansion is a way to spend some time, but it isn't interesting or attractive, does not add much to the franchise and is certainly not worth its price. The best choice for players is to take advantage of the excellent Far Cry 5 and stay away from all the expansions available.

Brawlout is a simple fighting title that features mechanics clearly inspired by the Super Smash Bros series, with some differences. The cast of characters has no charisma, but the guest characters (Juan, Drifter and Yooka-Laylee) are good additions. The online mode is functional with players in the same region. The biggest problem is the gameplay, which is a bit strange to get used to, especially with the impact of the attacks. If you are looking for a Smash Bros on PlayStation consoles, it is worth checking it out, but have in mind that it is an inferior version of the Nintendo brawler.
