The Surge 2 is an extremely addictive and enjoyable game, thanks to its dynamic and fun combat. In terms of mechanics and gameplay, the game is a significant improvement over its predecessor. Unfortunately it ends up failing in the same aspects as the first game. All of this, coupled with various performance issues, eventually takes away some of the brilliance the title had to offer.

The insanity of its universe and the best combat system ever made make Borderlands 3 the best game in the franchise. An extensive campaign, captivating characters and various alternative game modes heighten the interest in the title and the fun that comes with it. Even though technical problems and badly developed villains may undermine some of the quality of the game, there are a lot of positive stuff and dozens of hours of fun guaranteed in Gearbox Software's crazy franchise universe.

NBA 2K20 is another incredible game in the series, capturing every great thing that the NBA has. Despite serious issues involving microtransactions, it's still a mandatory game for fans of the sport.

Although it has some technical problems and mainly flaws in artificial intelligence, Ancestors Legacy is a good RTS game. Even though the campaigns offered are not very attractive, the other game modes are very entertaining and make good use of the controls that have been adapted to the consoles in an excellent way.

Submersed is a game full of good intentions that are often poorly executed. A survivor horror that sins in many ways, from an uninspired look to a shallow, irrelevant narrative and a numb gameplay system. It has a really short length, but enough not to become a nuisance, although it is an important factor in the purchase decision or not. Although it can entertain and willingly even scare a little bit, it is far from memorable.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is an spectacular experience. With a thrilling narrative, solid gameplay, uniquely sensitive artistic composition and sweeping symbolic depth, it is one of the most important titles in video games history, though it may not necessarily please all types of players. However, the remastered version might not be enough for players who already know it to re-invest in the title

Vambrace: Cold Soul is not a bad game. However, in addition to over-requested bugs and downfalls, the player must deal with a difficulty he may not be willing to. Even in the easiest way things are difficult, so think carefully before you buy it.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is a definitive version, but the flaws, although already known, weren't completely solved, such as framerate and lack of sync between subtitles, clicks and lines. Gameplay and graphics have evolved, and additional content beautifies the collection. Each episode has its notoriety, and I have nothing to complain about the narrative. With this series, I'm sure it will please new players and old fans.

AI: The Somnium Files is a must have for Zero Escape fans and an excellent starting point for those that still don't know Uchikoshi's work. AI tells an excellent story with great characters and uses a novel concept which is uncommon in nowadays games and should be more valued. It's a game recommended to those who like to solve complex mysteries.

GreedFall is the biggest example of the evolution of its developer, that created a great action RPG for a market lacking in good options at the moment. With an interesting storyline, deep RPG system and pleasing combat, Spiders' game showcases qualities that should please Dragon Age orphans, even though there is still a lot of refinement left for an even better experience.

The main quality of Torchlight II is knowing how to deal with its qualities and limitations. While comparisons to the great classics of the genre are inevitable, the game manages to distinguish itself with identity and guarantees some good hours of fun, exploration and stylish destruction of hordes and more hordes of enemies.

Despite the great presentation, troublesome narrative, disjointed mechanics and the lack of a clearer direction stops Trüberbrook's beauty from dazzling you enough to keep you interested in the game. Maybe next time, studio btf might fix these mistakes and reach the potential that they already clearly have.

Despite having one of the most interesting and artistically distinct stories amongst modern JRPGs, Crystar is a game severely limited by its simplistic combat that keeps it from reaching the high level that it could've reached.

Utawarerumono: Zan is a perfect combination on paper, but its execution is so flawed that it should quickly fade away in one of the busiest months of the year in gaming.

Despite the good story and being full of great concepts and ideas that could have worked out better with more development time, Oninaki ends up being a decent Action RPG that fails in actually capturing the spirit of old JRPGs or delivering a truly compelling experience.

RAD is a fun title, but the lack of refinement in several aspects is evident, which makes the game extremely repetitive and boring most of the time. Nevertheless, it is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a good challenge and are fans of the 80's culture.

Remnant: From the Ashes can positively use various aspects of other games while creating an unique identity. As one of the biggest surprises of the year, we have a great cooperative shooter, with good depth in its gameplay and challenging in the right measure.
