NIS America games are unmistakable and represent the face of the producer. However, Destiny Connect is not "connected" to its own gameplay, bringing many animation flaws, intense motion blur and sensible gameplay without many possibilities. As a set of work, The Ninja Saviors - Return of the Warriors is a great game to play alone (or even with a couch friend) with a very well-metered challenge level. The game knows what it wants to achieve, who its audience is, and so knows how to handle the scope of the project. If in audiovisual terms it can look for classic elements very competently, with small doses of modernity, the gameplay shines when dealing with simplicity with something sophisticated, although a greater variety of possibilities is lacking. The campaign is short and the replay factor depends on the player's thirst for trophies and perfection, but everything is well dosed to ensure the game doesn't become too repetitive before it's over.

Ubisoft might have excessively applied its open-world formula in the creation of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Even with a great map and yet a good gunplay, uninspiring activities, a story without direction and forcing the game into an even bigger version of The Division clearly do not fit in with everything the series has featured in decades. While the cooperative factor may motivate you to tackle this arduous task, it is only valid with low investment and a lot of patience.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a great platform game that seeks to please Donkey Kong Country fans. It's a relatively long, challenging title with a lot of collectibles and some special stages. The overworld has some very interesting puzzles. However, the camera has some problems and the damage system is like the one in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and it isn't very good.

Pixelopus' effort and dedication to create a project as ambitious and reflective as Concrete Genie, highlight the true potential of this small studio within Sony. It is certainly an experience that will please everyone, regardless of age, thanks to its captivating story, and its enjoyable gameplay, that encourages our creativity. Even with its short duration, it's a great title and a nice addition to the PlayStation 4 exclusive games list.

The Surge 2 is an extremely addictive and enjoyable game, thanks to its dynamic and fun combat. In terms of mechanics and gameplay, the game is a significant improvement over its predecessor. Unfortunately it ends up failing in the same aspects as the first game. All of this, coupled with various performance issues, eventually takes away some of the brilliance the title had to offer.

The insanity of its universe and the best combat system ever made make Borderlands 3 the best game in the franchise. An extensive campaign, captivating characters and various alternative game modes heighten the interest in the title and the fun that comes with it. Even though technical problems and badly developed villains may undermine some of the quality of the game, there are a lot of positive stuff and dozens of hours of fun guaranteed in Gearbox Software's crazy franchise universe.

Submersed is a game full of good intentions that are often poorly executed. A survivor horror that sins in many ways, from an uninspired look to a shallow, irrelevant narrative and a numb gameplay system. It has a really short length, but enough not to become a nuisance, although it is an important factor in the purchase decision or not. Although it can entertain and willingly even scare a little bit, it is far from memorable.
