If this were a preview of an upcoming game then I would be saying I’m excited to see what the team achieve with the final product, but Monster Energy Supercross 5 left me conflicted
I am not sure if fun is the right word but Trolley Problem, Inc. is an engaging and interesting game and unlike any, I’ve played before really.
It will not come as a surprise that I was left feeling disappointed by MotoGP 22 and I expect the same will be said by many players who have decided to give the world of Mot GP an attempt.
I really enjoyed my time in Petria, the characters had me interested in their stories and journeys. Being broken into 6 episodes makes perfect sense.
Some people might enjoy Flat Kingdom. After all, it is a very casual game, but for me, I was bored out of my mind.
When I first played this game, I thought it bore a striking resemblance to Sea of Thieves. The game’s art style, sea exploration, and colour palette were very similar, but I was very wrong.
Sally Face is that this is a game that will make you go through so many emotions. You will laugh and you will cry. I have spent so many hours on this game and was just blown away from start to finish.
Simple to start, but scratch the surface, and you’ll find hidden depths that reward repeated play. Roguebook has the ‘just one more go’ factor that will keep you playing way too late into the night
The way the game has been developed and what it has to offer has been done really well. It is simple enough for anyone to pick up and run with
B.I.O.T.A is one that every retro gamer absolutely needs to play. Even if you are not a retro gamer this game will tick many boxes for you. Its wonderful pixels, the gameplay and the controls!
Expedition Zero lives up to it’s categorization as a survival horror game. All the elements are there – crafting, the elements, and creepy crawlies.
My final thought on Dark Deity is that the game can sometimes feel like a copy and paste of the Fire Emblem series. There is taking inspiration from a video game.
It is great to see a free next-gen upgrade for a game. While I appreciate that some developers charge for their upgrades, you can see that their time and effort needs to be paid for somewhere.
I have nothing but praise for this game. Even with the omission of a mini-map, it is mitigated with the rewind feature. I had fun playing ‘Spot the Sonic Reference’ when driving on courses aswell.
I can say with utter sincerity that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the BEST LEGO game I have ever played. The humour, the sheer amount of things to do, and its relevance to the source material are second to none.
I have enjoyed each time I have played Solasta and the event with the Tactical Adventures team was no different. I am really looking forward to seeing what they bring next.
Abermore is just simply a great concept at this time. It is not a great game. It does have potential, but it really was clearly not ready for release.
Pixel platformers may be a dime a dozen, but this is a shiny sovereign. The formula may be familiar, but familiar is always a comfort. Flynn: Son of Crimson is a beautiful platforming adventure brimming with charm that will win you over no matter how many similar titles you’ve played. The gameplay is sleek, the pixels are crunchy and the story is full of heart. Every time you play, you’ll find yourself going “Just one more level. Just one more relic…”
An enjoyable title that gives enough to make you want to hit those global leaderboards. It has come out alongside some massive new releases but is a title that you don’t need to spend a massive amount of time on.
For a one-man studio, Radiangames has really come up with a fun and creative game that just captivates me. I have an engineering background but seriously, who doesn’t love smashing up buildings?! Even my four year old sat with me driving one of our homemade machines into buildings. It appeals to everyone.
