10 / 10 - Wizards Tourney
Oct 1, 2018

Wizards Tourney doesn't boast the best graphics or soundtrack on the market, but what it does supply is worth way more than any of that. It provides a wholesome and experience for the entire family to enjoy.

10 / 10 - Resident Evil 2
Feb 1, 2019

While the game lacks in more open environments with several sections coming out as just hallways, it still nails it with its bleak tone, fantastic enemies, and groundbreaking characters. In short, Resident Evil 2 is a “must have” for any survival horror fan.

In short, Kingdom Hearts 3 is a memorable story driven masterpiece that, despite its flaws, delivers a fun story-driven action RPG into one neat little package.

I personally feel like Let’s Go Eevee is the best Pokemon game I’ve played. I really do. There are so many little fixes, such as being able to see wild Pokemon, that I hope to continue into future games. As for me, I give this game a solid nine and a half Pikachus out of ten. Seriously, why haven’t you bought it yet? Go, now!

Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker is hands down the best expansion of the game to date, and one of the best expansions of all time. While the queue times to get in are atrocious and the crashes due to overloaded servers make the game difficult to play, the developers are caring enough to compensate players with free time to make up for the issues. The game is beautiful, the new dungeons are brutally fun, and the overall story arc is amazing. For those looking for a new MMO you can not go wrong with Final Fantasy 14 which is currently and arguably the best MMORPG out at this point in time.

9.3 / 10.0 - Devil May Cry 5
Mar 16, 2019

At the end of the day, Devil May Cry 5 is a fantastic game, easily worthy of a couple of awards at this year’s VGAs. The charm of the characters, the fantastic gameplay, and the Sensational sounds make a Stylish game worthy of the Devil May Cry franchise.

9 / 10 - NeuroVoider
Mar 24, 2017

NeuroVoider is a very strong example of an older genre being brought back to life with modern game techniques. Gameplay is filled to the brim with heavy choices through RPG elements and player reflexes, making every action exciting to behold. While repetition is sure to set in eventually due to the game's procedual nature, the amount of content available through level layouts and loot choices make such an event a long way off.

Prey is an outstanding example both as a sci-fi thriller and an FPS. Talos 1 tells its own story as players explore and immerse you.

9 / 10 - 2Dark
Mar 10, 2017

It's cheap, it's great and worth hours of enjoyment (as well as few jump scares to boot). The few issues in 2Dark are a testament to how good this game plays and feels. It's very important that this actually feels like a creepy game as well, otherwise the storyline wouldn't fit in well with the scenery. Overall, this is a great indie title to check out.

I'm of two minds about Utopia. On one hand I really like that the game has become more complex, more fleshed out as it were, but on the other I think that there isn't actually much new content added in the expansion itself. It has just been shuffled around and gated, extending the game. If you take a look at what Utopia and the Banks patch bring together—the Ascension Perks, Unity, Traditions, reworked government system, Civics, megastructures, species rights, new technologies, balancing, and hundreds of other tweaks—you can definitely see that they were developed as parts of a whole. Paradox just decided not to charge for part of the expansion.

This isn't just a game made with love, it's a refined game of love. I don't always look on the bright side of games, but it's been awhile since a game made me this happy. It's not perfect, but there's a lot to enjoy. Thanks to the mix of Strategy, Town Building, and CYOA elements, you won't need to worry about the game losing steam. I will definitely play more of this after I write this review.

Heavy Metal Machines is a MOBA unlike any other. It is a fast-paced, action-packed tribute to heavy metal in the best way. The over-the-top heavy metal aesthetic of this title bleeds into the gameplay seamlessly, and everything from the drivers to the arenas showcase this. I highly recommend this game to everyone, even if they're not a rocker!

9 / 10 - Deathloop
Sep 25, 2021

Deathloop offers unique gameplay and a whole new experience for action-adventure genre lovers. I haven’t seen so much innovation in a game in a while, and I loved every second of playing. While some issues definitely need addressing, overall I still think the game will be a candidate for game of the year and will set new standards for development concepts.

While Guardians of the Galaxy was by no means perfect, it is one of the best superhero action-adventure games I have ever played. The soundtrack was amazing filled with classic rock hits that motivate combat and immerse players into the story. The upgrade system was great aside from the fact it was a bit basic. I loved the team chemistry and felt that this game was a fantastic comic book adaption. There were a few bugs, but nothing that kills the game like a lot of Ubisoft titles. While combat could have had a bit more spice, this game shows that linear games are just as powerful as open-world titles. If anything, I commend what Square did by making a superhero game that had no open qualities whatsoever.
