8.5 / 10.0 - Salt and Sacrifice
May 11, 2022

Salt and Sacrifice is like Salt and Sanctuary, just less ugly – at the same time, it's definitely more than just '2-D Dark Souls.' Indeed, this game blends the Souls, Hollow Knight and Monster Hunter in nearly perfect proportions.

8.5 / 10.0 - Trek to Yomi
May 5, 2022

Trek to Yomi is a well-made game, and, in some aspects, even great. If you like this type of adventure and a focus on the artistic style, as well as the samurai atmosphere, go for it! I really hope Trek to Yomi sells well since I’d like to see more.

This game should have been released 5 years ago as a free bonus to the console itself, just like Wii Sports years ago. As a stand-alone game for a full price, Nintendo Switch Sports simply doesn’t cut it.

Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters is a very good representative of its genre, a perfect choice for both fans of the universe and XCOM games. After many mediocre games, we finally have a WH40K title worth your money.

6 / 10.0 - Loot River
May 3, 2022

Moving blocks and traversing pixelated waters of Loot River is fun, and I hope the developers will show the game’s full potential in the future. But right now, they need to fix it and make the gameplay more diverse.

The Skywalker Saga is exactly what we expected it to be – a fun LEGO version of our favorite movies with dozens of hours of solving puzzles, climbing stuff and destroying everything in our path. A perfect game for kids, or to unwind after a hard day.

8.5 / 10.0 - Tales of Arise
Apr 1, 2022

Despite some issues, Tales of Arise is a fantastic game, especially for fans of the genre. Fortunately, it is also accessible to newcomers to the genre, because it has everything: a cool story, great characters, a charming world, and really good gameplay.

9.5 / 10.0 - Hades
Apr 1, 2022

Do you know what I’m going to do after writing this review? Play Hades again - for fun. It’s just so damn good. Maybe I’ll be able to escape hell, maybe not, but I’ll be happy to try again.

9 / 10.0 - Psychonauts 2
Apr 1, 2022

If gameplay that's unremarkable at best doesn't distract you from a very original artistic & design direction that's painfully necessary in the video games business. And that makes Psychonauts 2 praiseworthy!

8.5 / 10.0 - Kingdom Hearts III
Apr 1, 2022

My heart guides my review of Kingdom Hearts 3. This is a superb love letter to fans of the IP that offers much more than proved gameplay solutions alone. It offers closure.

I’m fairly certain that my adventure with Tiny Tina’s stories won’t end as quickly as with Borderlands. It’s been 20 hours, and I still want to complete all the side-quests. I'm also sure that I will max out all challenges and get all collectibles. It is a truly magical adventure!

If you like 3D platformers from Nintendo, give Forgotten Land a chance. It will keep you entertained for a few nights, even if not everything works as it should. The basic concept and mechanics are there, but the sequel needs to expand and improve them.

7 / 10.0 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Mar 21, 2022

Ghostwire: Tokyo doesn't tap into all of its potential. There’s nothing wrong with it per se (save for some repetitiveness) but there’s nothing really unique about it either. Maybe except the visuals? It looks really nice, and all in all, it is a sturdy, by-the-book game with mediocre gameplay.

The World Before is more of an interactive story than an adventure game. The gameplay was a letdown, but the story and the world were quite OK. You have to decide yourself what’s more important for you.

Triangle Strategy is one of these games that is more than just a simple sum of its elements. But remember – Japanese tactical RGPs are odd. If you haven’t played anything from this genre, be sure to check out the demo version first.

7 / 10.0 - Gran Turismo 7
Mar 2, 2022

On PlayStation 5, Gran Turismo 7 shines because there is simply no competition. Against the background of the whole genre, however, it is a long overdue premiere of a slightly outdated game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Shadow Warrior 3
Feb 28, 2022

On paper, Shadow Warrior 3 looks like a step back from its prequel. It is shorter, simpler, more linear and devoid of many mechanics. Did that make him a worse game? No. The exact opposite happened.

9.5 / 10.0 - Elden Ring
Feb 23, 2022

Dark Souls... Dark Souls never changes. Are you sure? Because although Elden Ring draws handfuls from the achievements and mechanics of its predecessors, it contains many novelties – including this one, monumental, called the open world. Painful as never before.

Horizon Forbidden West doesn't try to reinvent the genre, and it's barely an evolution either. The developers have simply mixed all the current ingredients in perfect proportions. What they did in the end was throttling the freedom, gradually revealing the full extent of the experience in Forbidden West. One of the finest adventures we've recently had for sure!
