Jul 31, 2020

If nothing else, jumping in his saucer and decimating an entire town can be quite cathartic. Or is that just me?

8.5 / 10.0 - CARRION
Jul 23, 2020

The game is pure power fantasy, a reverse-horror game where you can’t help but root for the monster. It’s also an indie game where it feels like the developers have created the exact experience they wanted to make without compromise

As a whole, the overall presentation is a major let-down to what is otherwise a rather sharp and strong racing game.

Ghost of Tsushima isn't perfect but, like a summoned objective on your touchpad, it's a breath of fresh air that'll send a warm chill down the spine of any Samurai aficionado.

If all of this was in a single collection, it would be a no brainer to recommend to anyone that is a fan of retro arcade games, or is just looking for a bit of classic fun. But split across two collections, it’s not as easy to recommend.

5.6 / 10.0 - Summer in Mara

The core narrative and its surrounding cast of characters is intriguing but unengaging quest design means it loses steam far faster than it ought to.

It's not perfect and it is quite repetitive but I wasn't bothered. Maneater is a game we've not seen the likes of before and I hope it inspires more like it. Go and buy Maneater and experience what it's like to be the ultimate Apex Predator.
