8 / 10.0 - Darkwood
Jun 2, 2019

Darkwood is a simple but hugely satisfying top-down horror survival game that will have you jumping at shadows.

8 / 10.0 - The Little Acre
Jun 1, 2019

A short but sweet adventure, The Little Acre is a must for genre fans. Even if it is overpriced on the Nintendo Switch, it has too much quality and charm to skip.

10 / 10.0 - Bird Game +
May 31, 2019

Bird Game + is a pleasing experience with a beautiful soundtrack, simple graphics, and fun mechanics in the gameplay. It's serene with some intense moments. It's something different and definitely worth a try.

10 / 10.0 - Crystal Crisis
May 31, 2019

Save Tetris and Puyo Pop for when you want to wind down before bedtime. Crystal Crisis is as intense as puzzle gaming gets and has sparked new life into a genre not known for surprises. From the heart-pumping puzzle action to the full-fledged story mode and a roster that screams "fan service," it would be a crime to call Crystal Crisis anything less than an absolute diamond.

8 / 10.0 - Dig Dog
May 30, 2019

Dig Dog is a pleasing game. The gameplay is quick but fun and increasingly challenging. This is a mindless game to play when you're looking for something relaxing or don't want to commit to a heavy story.

7 / 10.0 - Shadowgate
May 29, 2019

Overall I enjoyed my time with Shadowgate. I found myself frustrated from time to time but still really immersed in the game. As admitted above I am not always the fondest of this genre however fans of the adventure point-and-click games may find more enjoyment. If you are a fan of the genre or just want to give the style a try Shadowagate certainly is a good starting point. The story is compelling and the music and graphics are great.

7.5 / 10.0 - Redout
May 29, 2019

Overall, Redout is an amazing racing game and by far the best anti-gravity one on Nintendo Switch. It offers simplistic but meaningful customization, diverse environments, and RPG-like mechanics that provide replay ability, all without sacrificing performance for the most part

If you've already played Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on another platform there's not much in the story or in-game achievements to warrant another trip. Playing with a partner, however, creates a whole new experience that's certainly worth sharing. And if you've never experienced this tale before, you should. The puzzles are fun, the story is touching, and it comes together in a way that's likely to leave a lasting impact.

All of this comes together for a mostly engaging strategic experience that is just long enough to not wear out its welcome. You're not going to sink hundreds of hours into it like you did with Breath of Wild and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but that's a good thing in this case. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac age chugs along at a decent speed (albeit sometimes slowed by long, repetitive environments and the micromanagement of the gambit system), with story elements dropped in just often enough to keep you intrigued.

Zeroptian Invasion is a fun game to pick up and play on the go. The controls are easy and the levels themselves are challenging, making for a good time.

Hungry Baby: Party Treats lacks a complete campaign offering, but the atmosphere, treats, party mode, and performance make this a must-own for anyone looking to get an affordable party/puzzle game.

5 / 10.0 - Undead Horde
May 24, 2019

While graphics and performance are flawless, Undead Horde has repetitive and routine gameplay that can't save it from its potential. The art style is amazing, so it is unfortunate it has to be ruined by mediocre gameplay. I'd say if you are looking for a game like Undead Horde, the best bet is saving up for the Diablo 3: Eternal Collection on Nintendo Switch.

7.5 / 10.0 - Super Blood Hockey
May 22, 2019

Super Blood Hockey varies away from traditional hockey games, though, it still is a ton of fun.

9 / 10.0 - Akane
May 21, 2019

Akane is a delightful twin-stick shooter that focuses primarily on melee combat, and wants the player to use their firearms sparingly. Mix this with the delightful graphics and upgrades, and there is a lot of fun to be had with this game.

I usually like puzzle games more than high-action games, but this one left me a bit flat. If you want to add an official GoT item to your game collection, this one is only $3.99; so no huge investment and you can while away some time as you wonder, "What if I sat on the throne?" One thing to remember in Reigns: Game of Thrones is a lesson that applies to much in life – you're darned if you do and you're darned if you don't. You will end up dead, it's just a matter of time before your reign ends.

If you're new to Kemco games or JPRGs in general, Sephirothic Stories serves as a light, quick (the game can be finished in around 10 hours), simple introduction to the genre. Unless you're looking for a deep challenge or a modern presentation, there's nothing really wrong here. However, there's also not much new or terribly interesting, making Sephirothic Stories a game that's okay to miss.

It is a shame Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy doesn’t do anything special for today’s age of gaming, but everything that is done, is flawless.

6 / 10.0 - Panty Party
May 15, 2019

"Panty Party" provides a ridiculous story, funny dialogue, and repetitive but entertaining combat. Still, it suffers from uncomfortable situations and humor that appear as over-sexualization of minors.
