6 / 10.0 - Broken Blades
Mar 15, 2022

Broken Blades is another addition to the rogue-like genre, that may not be a must play, but has enough good ideas to make it a worthwhile purchase for hardcore rogue-like fans.

7.5 / 10.0 - Pudding Monsters
Mar 14, 2022

Pudding Monsters is a fun puzzle game with exciting colors and sound effects. There's not much gameplay variation from the first level through the last. But still, this is one of the more creatively designed versions of these types of games.

8.5 / 10.0 - Move or Die
Mar 12, 2022

Move or Die: Unleashed is a fast and furious multiplayer game that's so fun, it hurts. There are many crazy minigames to try, each with the overarching goal of moving or dying. It's sure to have you laughing and cursing in equal measure.

7.5 / 10.0 - Time Loader
Mar 11, 2022

Time Loader isn't a long game, but it satisfies through its take on time travel. The story intrigues, the bot character is fun, and the audio design is on the ball. There are some final act issues, but I still recommend the game for those drawn to the plot and with '90s nostalgia.

Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure is another worthwhile entry in the Pinball FX3 library. Although it's not the best deal Zen has to offer, the machine is good enough to appeal to fans of pinball in general or Indy himself (with visual presentation options to accommodate both groups).

10 / 10.0 - Will You Snail?
Mar 10, 2022

Will You SnAIl? is an expertly crafted action platformer, with gripping gameplay, a heart-wrenching futuristic story and a villain you can't help but love to hate.

Hundred Days – Winemaking Simulator offers quite a bit. With the different modes, there is plenty here to keep you busy. While the story is certainly the primary focus of the game, I found I learned more by playing the endless mode. That being said, I wish there was more to the tutorial to help you understand what you need to do to grow your winery. If you enjoy in-depth simulators, Hundred Days – Winemaking Simulator will not disappoint.

5.5 / 10.0 - Gem Wizards Tactics
Mar 10, 2022

Gem Wizards Tactics has some fun tactical battles going on with cute-looking characters. While the design elements can make it harder to enjoy, if you're in the mood for a simple version of Fire Emblem and can grab it on special, it could be worth a go.

3 / 10.0 - Edge of Eternity
Mar 9, 2022

Even if the cloud service it uses was running normally, Edge of Eternity is at best an OK game that fails to deliver on its explosive opening. The combat is fun but loses that fun when you're overwhelmed with enemies in long, drawn-out battles. The open world is interesting but it's simply way too large and empty for you to enjoy exploring. The story starts off great but fizzles out very quickly into a somewhat uninteresting, boring mess. It might be best to look somewhere else for a more enjoyable tactical game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Castle Morihisa
Mar 9, 2022

Castle Morihisa is a deck-building strategy game with plenty of pros and only a few cons. The cons do not weigh so heavily that the game isn't fun. It isn't the best at everything it tries to do (most which you've seen before), but it is an enjoyable game.

3 / 10.0 - Moto Roader MC
Mar 9, 2022

Moto Roader MC is a poor title. With little in the way of quality updates or polish, this game should've stayed a 30-year relic. Even at its budget price, I'd skip this sloppy update.

While Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream does nothing totally different as a sequel, the streamlined crafting and simplified combat system allow players to be more invested in the story without becoming bogged down in complex game mechanics. For long-time fans, however, those mechanics are still available.

Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes is much more fun than I ever thought it would be; however, it doesn't do enough to hold my attention any more than a handful of battles and doesn't do enough with those battles to make me want to come back. Couple this with the random generation that only hinders your progression, and you have a frustrating game that is only working against you.

8.5 / 10.0 - Infernax
Mar 1, 2022

Infernax is a truly retro experience that takes the best elements of the past to create a fun time in the present. It's tough but fair and a blast to play. Highly recommended for fans of action-adventure platformers like Castlevania.

5.5 / 10.0 - Splotches
Mar 1, 2022

Splotches feels like a game geared towards a younger audience. Mixing colors to cause explosions and solve puzzles is appealing to kids. However, I found the puzzles to be one-sided, just figuring out what the designer wanted you to do to solve them. A good puzzle game should allow me to be creative and feel like I solved the board because of my ingenuity. Unfortunately, I never got that with Splotches.

A niche appeal title, Rover Mechanic Simulator will feel like an entertaining and informative diversion to some but a waste of time to others. Representing a genre that's hit or miss on the Nintendo Switch, this title falls closer to the middle of the pack.

4 / 10.0 - 35MM
Feb 28, 2022

35MM is a messy blend of multiple genres lacking any clear definition or direction. The tense atmosphere that it builds isn't enough to keep you invested and definitely needs more depth in its gameplay, story, and performance. This is a real shame, as there is clear potential for this to be far better than what we have received.

7.5 / 10.0 - Treasure Temples
Feb 28, 2022

Treasure Temples is a solid option for those seeking low-pressure puzzle gameplay. The redundant visuals and lack of a narrative are easily overcome by clever levels, fun boss challenges, and a unique two-explorer approach to puzzle solving. It's just too bad that "two-explorer" does not equate "two-player."

Derpy Conga is a game that is so adorable in every way that it is difficult to dislike, but needs some polish before it can reach its full potential.

Ignore the retro RPG trappings of Rise of the Third Power; this is a great game regardless of whether you're approaching it for nostalgic purposes. Its story is just fresh enough, its turn-based combat unique enough, to keep you firmly planted in 2022, not 1992.
