SECTOR.sk's Reviews

A new generation of From Software directors is maturing and Elden Ring Nightreign is among the first of their fresh crops. Even as a roguelike co-op spinoff it shines like one of the brightest stars held back by the mighty Starscourge Radahn. However, if you unfavour the RNG gods or Miyazaki himself, not only bad luck but horrible connection and inconsistent designs shall rain upon you and your teammates. Therefore, be brave Nightfarers and join forces against the powerful Nightlords!

7.5 / 10.0 - Darfall

Solid Slovak RTS similar to Warcraft III has a robust survival mode, but a shorter campaign, multiplayer is missing, and you'll encounter some bugs.

6 / 10.0 - #DRIVE Rally
May 26, 2025

Undemanding car races will suffice for less experienced racers, but they certainly won't inspire much enthusiasm. There are several shortcomings, including the weaker driving model.

Too often, I found myself quitting out of frustration, forced to replay sections from the last checkpoint because of bugs. These weren't minor annoyances'they significantly impacted the experience. With proper polish, this could have been rated much higher. If the developers eventually patch the game, it's absolutely worth your time. Until then, I suggest adding it to your wishlist and waiting.

7 / 10.0 - FragPunk
May 22, 2025

FragPunk is a fun and promising tactical hero shooter with unique card mechanics that refresh gameplay each round. However, it still suffers from balance issues, confusing virtual currencies, and low server tickrate that impacts the overall experience.

Some elements of the Onimusha 2 remaster still hold up 23 years after its original release, offering moments of engagement and fun. Others, however, haven't aged as gracefully, and time has taken its toll. As a result, this remaster feels more like an intriguing relic of the past'best appreciated by longtime fans looking to revisit the reasons they once fell in love with the series, rather than newcomers.

At JDM, you can enjoy exotic car racing in a stylish Japanese setting, with a focus on unconventional drifting competitions. But you can also take in the interesting scenery as you drive leisurely through the city. It offers a refreshing change from the usual routine disciplines of classic motorsport. Both casual and experienced players enjoy the great driving experience, enhanced by the arcade-style or simulation setting, as well as the complex modifications and improvements to the vehicles.

Being a delivery boy and courier can be a real chore, but in this game it is also fun and humorous. At least it works well in the first few hours. Later it gets worse. The physics and destruction are exaggerated, but successful, while the story is a disaster.

8 / 10.0 - Blades of Fire
May 20, 2025

If you're a fan of Souls-like games, Blades of Fire is a must-play. It introduces unique mechanics that may not suit everyone, making it a very specific experience. It's not as accessible as God of War, but also not as punishing as traditional Souls titles'landing somewhere in between. While it may not look like it at first glance, this is very much an RPG at heart, not just a hack-and-slash.

8 / 10.0 - RoadCraft
May 19, 2025

Roadcraft is surprisingly deep and well-made. While different from MudRunner or SnowRunner, it can still appeal to their fans as well as newcomers interested in construction and heavy machinery. The dynamic mud system remains fun, and the visuals and technical scenarios impress. Some tasks do get repetitive over time, and a bit more automation could help'but overall, it's a solid construction sim in tough terrain.

6.5 / 10.0 - Post Trauma

Fans of classic survival horror will find this modern take on the genre partially satisfying. However, the content is largely unoriginal, and the uncomfortable camerawork is off-putting.

The popular puzzle game has been given a makeover and has received an extra feature, and is once again competing for players' favour. The puzzles are still fun, and they now look better than ever.

7 / 10.0 - The Precinct
May 13, 2025

A city in the style of a classic GTA game needs the hand of the law - you. You protect it with a police badge on your chest, a penalty block, a gun and your foot on the accelerator. The activities are varied, the size of the city is more modest, characters and cars sometimes get stuck.

Super Technos World has a decent selection of games from a well-known studio, but it could have been better curated. You can find your favourites in the list and invite other players to play, but there are certainly more tempting retro compilations on the market.

9.5 / 10.0 - DOOM: The Dark Ages
May 9, 2025

Doom: The Dark Ages does many things differently from its predecessors, but it does them well. A rich story, a great sense of power, and still memorable, brutal gameplay make it not only a great addition to the legendary action franchise, but also one of the best games of the year.

It's a shame there's no real online multiplayer in this version, and the single-player content is repetitive. It plays well, it's fun, but at the moment I see no reason to stick with the game beyond the first few hours.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is one of the most mechanically complex fighters in years, offering a deep combat system you can master over dozens of hours'especially in multiplayer, where the game truly shines. However, the single-player content is repetitive, the story lacks impact, and the game struggles to present its complex mechanics in an intuitive way.
