Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is a lovely game with a fun-filled story. It may have many recycled elements and stages from the previous game but more often than not, it's still a treat to play. 💽
I had an excellent time with Pepper Grinder and I'm very happy that there are still unique gameplay ideas to be shared in the 2D space.
I'm happy that I discovered ANIMAL WELL because its puzzle-filled world was a great deal of fun to traverse and master. Great stuff!
My gaming chum and I had a blast with Surmount and we can't wait to overcome even more climbing challenges so bring it on!
At the end of the day, if you're not playing Endless Ocean Luminous to look at and learn about oceanic creatures then you won't enjoy it as there is little else to it. While not necessarily a bad game, it becomes less and less fun the more you play it and I wouldn't exactly call that the hallmark of a good game either. 🤿
Braid, Anniversary Edition is both a throwback to simpler times and a reminder that indie devs can rise above if given the opportunity. ⏳
Farlands Journey exceeded my expectations and it brought me back to the golden age of experimental 2D platformers.
Rainbow Cotton is the kind of game that series fans will happily add to their collection but it surely won't entice many folks outside of that player base with its dated gameplay that unfortunately hasn't held up all that well. 🌈
SAND LAND is an unexpectedly beautiful game that's filled with heart, super-fun vehicle-based gameplay, plenty of laughs, and some of the most rewarding exploration out there. Definitely don't let its dry-looking world fool you into thinking any less. 🏜️
I think Under the Bed Games can only go up from here - the fact that Tales from Candleforth is their first game is quite impressive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who's into escape room games. 📖
The core of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! may be very familiar yet it does so many clever things with the classic party game formula that it's a very worthwhile experience for a couchful of chums, especially if you're a fan of the franchise. 👹
Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is one of the best Metroidvanias that I've played in a long time and it looks and sounds incredible, too.
As someone who wants to see more bear representation in gaming, I applaud Epic Dumpster Bear 1.5 DX: Dumpster Fire Rebirth.
Sophia the Traveler is simply delightful. From its charming art style to the outstanding amount of detail, this is a great indie treasure.
The clever gameplay and slick presentation of Sokobond Express will have you happily pushing more atoms than Niels Bohr.
I had a decent amount of fun with The Fall of Elena Temple but make sure you don't mind trial and error before playing it for yourself.
If you enjoyed Suika Game and love Azure Striker Gunvolt's music then PuzzMiX will be a welcome treat despite its lack of longevity.
MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED is one of the best mech games I've ever played thanks to its in-depth customisation component, tight combat, and outstandingly presented story within a fleshed-out anime world. I highly recommend it to any gamer who loves mech action. 🤖
In short, Rose & Camellia Collection doesn't have much to offer beyond a quick laugh, and that's just it - a QUICK laugh. 👋
I mostly had a great time with Stellar Blade with its combat being the real star of the show. Although exploration doesn't offer much exciting, it's still a worthwhile action adventure game that you're sure to have a lot of fun with. 🗡️
