Horse Ranch is an atmospheric expansion that will offer long-lasting variety. It adds to the difficulty and entices with its large world full of majestic animals with realistic animations. Unfortunately, the rabbit hole races are a big disappointment, especially when the trailer presents this aspect differently.

Exoprimal is an average title that will entertain but frustrate you at times. Exosuits are the best thing the game has to offer, but the poor implementation of playing as dinosaurs spoils the fun.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is a title that is unlikely to make it into the mainstream despite its efforts. It's headed in the right direction, yet it's particular with an exciting theme that will only appeal to certain players. Those that do, however, are in for an incredible audiovisual spectacle with great gameplay. As well as, for the first time in a long time, a simply excellent mech game. It's just a shame about the uninteresting story because, in other respects, it's an amazing and robust package.

Baldur's Gate 3 is, without a doubt, the most fantastic RPG I've ever had the opportunity to play and review. It offers an enjoyable experience with plenty of choices to make. With unprecedented freedom in the combat system and exploration, with full content without microtransactions, Baldur's Gate 3 is an authentic adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons. The game's size and the world's depth can be complex and overwhelming for newcomers to the genre. Baldur's Gate 3 reminds us that developers can trust the player and proves that putting together an exceptional title means risking hard work, which in this case, paid off. Baldur's Gate 3 has become the new standard that other RPGs will inherit for generations.

F1 23 confirms its position as one of the best simulators on the market, correcting the mistakes of the last title, and Codemasters have taken a step forward from last time. However, the title still suffers from a lack of time between releases. It tries to compensate for this with a story and a new F1 World mode, but it won't be enough for everyone.

Gord is a beautiful adventure strategy game and proof that even developers from bigger studios can start a small team and make a great game. If you like Slavic mythology, you will enjoy it to the fullest. There are plenty of visually colorful monsters, but also demons. The story is engaging, although the ending is a little too open-ended. The characters seem to have fallen out of Sapkowski's pen. Sound-wise, but also musically, the title excels. The sung Polish songs are a caress to the soul. However, the lack of Polish dubbing and multiplayer is disappointing. Not to mention that this is one of the few games in which even children can die for the greater good!

Dave the Diver is a huge surprise this year. The game just came out of nowhere and was fantastic. The seemingly primitive title has much more to it than one might expect, so we strongly recommend not underestimating it. If you like underwater adventures with good humor, this will be the game for you.

Atlas Fallen had great potential, thanks to its exciting dune setting and magical fantasy world. However, this world, story, and characters make Atlas Fallen a mediocre title. Still, the gameplay is fun, the combat is fresh, and moving around the map thanks to the exciting sand surfing will keep you entertained, but you probably won't remember the game when you're done.

Remnant 2 accomplishes everything the game set out to do. It's an enjoyable FPS/RPG hybrid that improves on the solid foundation of the first installment without losing its identity. It's a great and fun title that can be played repeatedly and always a little differently, solo, with friends or strangers online, and simply enjoy the great atmosphere, fantastic music, and overall enjoyable dopamine-filled gameplay—just a shame about the worse optimization and a few graphical imperfections.

Incredible early access period, incredible state of the full version. HROT is a success in every possible way. The result is a faithful and enjoyable boomer shooter with a fantastic atmosphere, capable of competing with foreign genre competition, which can hardly offer you an option to visit Vyšehrad castle, Strahov stadium, or Roztyly prefabs during the brutal socialist era. Moreover, this visit will allow you to shoot stuff and tame a pack of cute Prague Ratters.

If you're a fan of slower horror movies with an exciting story that will stick in your head for a week after finishing it, this is the one for you. It took me about 14 hours to complete the base game with the added chapters, and I think any psychological horror fan will enjoy it. Of course, provided you know that the game is primarily a walking simulator. But he can handle it really well.

As a whole, the game looks very nice and solid. The exciting concept provides a lovely immersion into the book and allows one to experience what it is like to live its story. Switching between the two worlds is exciting and reasonably necessary for solving the puzzles, even if sometimes you won't understand what's happening. The solid and emotional story, which you do not so much influence, is unfortunately slightly disturbed by the audio, which is weak here. Still, it manages to stand on its own with its feet firmly on the ground, ensuring that you will question your morals.

Viewfinder is a beautiful example of not needing bombastic stories, realistic graphics, or a billion different ideas to make a great game. Sometimes, all it takes is one idea. Something new, something special, something extraordinary. And that's precisely how this puzzle title can be described.

Trepang2 will most likely be the surprise of 2023 for many gamers. The story is mediocre, and the graphics will probably not impress many spoiled gamers. But it's not for nothing that they say we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Especially if it's an indie title with a very friendly price tag. The miniature team of Canadian developers from Trepang Studios has put all their cards on gameplay and created an excellent frenetic FPS with horror elements that are great to play and won't let you rest. Or at least not your heart, because you'll be scared if you don't shoot.

Final Fantasy XVI is very unique both within the series and in the field of hack'n'slash titles. If you are looking for an RPG that is more focused on the individual aspects of the fight and the story as such, then you will definitely enjoy the game. The story is on par with the best not only in the series, but in the games as a whole, which, with pompous moments, brings an incredibly fresh and unique experience that can satisfy both old fans and complete newcomers. This is a candidate for game of the year.

Aliens: Dark Descent is a more than exciting title with much to offer, especially in terms of gameplay, thanks to an exciting mix of game genres. The developers have managed to capture the Alien atmosphere perfectly, and this could be a dream come true for fans of the movie prequel. I would love to see a second installment allowing players more tactical options. Additionally, it's a shame that the game didn't avoid annoying bugs that spoil the overall impression of an otherwise great game.

Crash Team Rumble is an interesting competitive game about picking "apples" and beating the other team. It has a solid base that, unfortunately, lacks enough sauce. The small number of maps, characters, and one single mode - despite their uniqueness and differences from each other - unfortunately doesn't make up for the fact that this game fails on lack of depth and content.

Amnesia: The Bunker has done the impossible - turning an annoying game of cat and mouse into a strategic survival battle that will have you feeling the stress the whole time. The freedom in problem-solving and a light but enjoyable story are only dragged down by the dated look and problematic loading.
