Gamepare's Reviews
Mario Kart World marks a clear change in the series. The tracks are no longer isolated, but part of an open world that can be explored. The regions are connected by routes, side missions, photo challenges, and collectibles. Each race is also an opportunity to explore, jump, climb, and find new paths. Driving is more technical. Vehicle control is precise, stunts are not just for show, and shortcuts require skill. New modes, such as Elimination Tour and Survival, offer variety and pace. The technical side is stable, with excellent animations, good sound, and support for up to 60 fps in different configurations. However, not everything is well balanced. Some classic modes are less polished, Battle is shallow, and competitive multiplayer suffers from general chaos. The handling of two-wheeled vehicles is also lacking: motorcycles do not stand out in terms of gameplay.

Mai: Child of Ages is a demonstration of great ambition and passion on the part of Chubby Pixel. It is an action-adventure game that manages to combine time-based puzzles with a gameplay concept and a story about identity and destiny. The alternation between Mai as a child and Mai as an adult is the real trump card, creating truly well-designed puzzles. The greatest strengths are the originality of the time puzzles, the artistic atmosphere, and the touching storyline. The biggest flaws are the imprecise controls (especially in battle), the sometimes distracting pace due to overly large areas, and the shallow combat. If you're looking for an adventure that makes you think and challenges you with excellent puzzles, overlooking the inevitable technical imperfections due to the small size of the team, then we recommend purchasing it, especially if you love exploration and Zelda-like and Ghibli atmospheres.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is designed for a specific audience. First-time console buyers will find the experience clear, well-organized, and easy to follow. Those who are already familiar with the Nintendo ecosystem, on the other hand, are likely to be confronted with an unhelpful interactive showcase. It is not a real game, but neither is it a simple guide. It is something in between. A technical demonstration presented in style. Is it really useful? It depends on what you're looking for as soon as you turn on Switch 2. If you want to start off slowly, it may make sense. If, on the other hand, you're looking for something to actually play--better to go further.

An excellent platformer that balances challenge, visual beauty, and fun, with only a few minor flaws related to difficulty for beginners and a lack of innovation compared to the original.

Ironfall Invasion on Nintendo Switch is a title that manages to capture the charm of the past with updated graphics and modern controls. While not without its flaws, it remains an enjoyable experience for fans of arcade shooters and those looking for a lighthearted alternative to Gears of War.

As you can expect, the game features the same adventure as the original, let's see together if the developers have managed to do the work necessary to give a breath of fresh air to this not exactly young game. Overall, the work done by Microids in bringing this old title up to date is truly admirable.

Boomerang Fu is a small game, it has no big claims and doesn't want to revolutionize anything, it just wants to color a few evenings and make people smile in company. It is a classic party game that you can dust off countless times and that lends itself to all types of players, making it an excellent companion for some fun in a group.

The strength of the annual MotoGP version is the renewed Career mode. Compared to previous editions, this year it is reinvented and improved, giving you the opportunity to create your own customized team from scratch, to be able to work alongside an official team.

A technically not perfect title that is still fun, especially if you play the role of the ultimate predator, if you are passionate about the franchise and if you play in good company. Who knows if with the next DLC, one of which expects to be able to use Arnold already, and with some future patches, the game cannot improve significantly.

In the face of a good longevity of the campaign, a nightmare atmosphere, a truly engaging sound sector and a more than satisfying flavor in old school sauce, Invader Studios with Daymare 1998 certainly succeeds in the objective of satisfactorily paying homage to the horror era. videogames of the late 90s.

Minimax Tinyverse is a real-time strategy (RTS) developed and published by Nimble Neuron and O’olBlue Inc., free to play and playable in cross platform on Steam and iOS and Android devices. It is an interesting hybrid between a strategic and a MOBA, in which we will face opponents in 1-on-1 challenges. What distinguishes it is the speed of the games and the particular and playful style with which it is characterized.

WWE 2K20 boasts as usual an exaggerated roster, and the ever-valid online community that generates alternative characters and costumes. A real strength, albeit limited, given that, at the moment, it is not possible to create customized belts (promised to arrive in a future update).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not a remake, nor a reboot, nor a remastered. So what is it? Let's continue reading this review and we'll find out soon. Well, we could improperly call it a zero point. A new start, given that probably next year we will already have a CoD on PlayStation 5.

Swag and Sorcery, developed by Lazy Bear Games, is a management software with embarrassing simplicity, not only do we have mechanics that have already been seen countless times, but in this case they are also reduced to the bone and deprived of any type of character or depth.

The Trine series, born back in 2009 from the Frozenbyte production company, has captured the attention of the public with its puzzle version of the Platform. But this is not the only peculiarity of this video game: what has struck most is in fact the possibility of using different characters with their specific skills. Who has never played the previous chapters does not have to worry, the chapters almost always start from a new adventure.
