33bits's Reviews
Valley is a walking simulator of between three or four hours long with many adventurous overtones. An interesting argument, and powerful mechanics, are its premise, which unfortunately we will soon see diluted due to some design decisions, some forgettable passages of combat, and no difficulties of the puzzles that are presented to us. Anyway, the mechanics granted by the L.E.A.F. suit are interesting enough to test if the game is within range. Fortunately, the game performs very well in audiovisual terms, making our stay in Valley more bearable.

Whispers of a Machine is an original graphic adventure in which the decision making and the variety of dialogues allow a quite wide range of replayability. Although the story hooks and catches, it does not know how to lead to a correct outcome and ends up leaving us a little cold. The cast of voices is very striking and with correct intonations. A game to keep in mind even though it could have been better.

Hard West shows us how well XCOM would do in the Wild West, but it also knows how to stamp a stamp of its own with some mechanics such as luck and special abilities, and a powerful plot weight with decisions of negligible effects. All seasoned with gore, death, arcane rites, devil worship, and other paraphernalia that we did not expect to see in this setting but that in the end it looks good. It can fall into repeatability due to an AI with a lot of resources, and the management parts end up getting in the way, but it is still a highly recommended game if you like strategy and English is not a problem.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is not a game for everyone. From Software has taken its philosophy of creating real playable challenges to the extreme and developed the most difficult game of the generation to date. A gameplay measured to the millimeter, a huge and beautiful world and a magnificent dubbing finish a game that is very close to becoming a masterpiece.

Event Horizon is not a game for everyone. Its playable approach based on repetition, initial control harshness and language barrier can throw more than one off. On the other hand, the enormous size of the game's universe is a good incentive to continue discovering new galaxies.

Trine 2 in its most complete edition, and despite the time the game already has, has not lost its freshness at all, maintains the firm base of its first installment, levels it in its characters, and power in its possibilities, in addition to unite all available content in a total of 20 levels full of challenge, puzzles, jumps and action. A fairy tale that will amaze us with its settings, its landscapes, and its art of unusual beauty that is already the undisputed hallmark of the franchise. Also let's not forget the more than interesting multiplayer three, online or local, which will make the game more fun if possible. Highly recommended.

This is a very entertaining game, which mixes elements of real-time strategy with others taken directly from the Tower Defense and some touches of micromanagement of resources. The difficulty shown in certain levels can make more than one player go backwards, but if what we are looking for is a challenging game, we have a good alternative. The few new additions to the original Wii U may not be enough for those who have already bought it.

Legrand Legacy is a JRPG developed outside of Japan but with full respect for the genre, with many elements that will be familiar to those of us who live the 32-bit generation, and that despite having a plot riddled with cliches, will know how to maintain interest with several script twists and a pretty solid character build. That and a classic playable system but with certain characteristics that refresh it, and several extras to take into account. Too bad it only came to us in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, but if language isn't an issue and we like the genre, the game deserves a good shot.

Toejam & Earl have come back quite fit in a game that pays perfect tribute to the first installment and gives it a makeover to suit current times. The variety of game modes provides impressive replayability that is getting more and more popular, as well as the cooperative mode that makes the game much longer-lasting and fun to play. A return to the high life.

Slain: Back from Hell is definitely recommended if you like the classic proposals for action and 2D platforms with a fairly high difficulty throughout 6 levels that may be a simple development, but in return, it delights us with an audiovisual section of scandal , a pixel art well done, a gothic art, dark and bloody, and a soundtrack that fits like a finger. Recommended if the setting calls you and the challenges go.

Devil May Cry 5 is an excellent, almost perfect title, with gameplay at a different level than the rest of the market, which has embraced its fans like no other franchise, and which tastes like victory, but which would have been better to tell from the beginning with a little more difficulty and with the Bloody Palace. For the player who squeezes the saga it is indifferent, but the one who comes for one lap and no more, can be made simple.

It is not easy to qualify a proposal like this, not so much for its successes and its improvable aspects, but for the personal nature of its proposal. It is certainly not a game for everyone. Those looking for a more open and deep adventure to use, will have a fun time but will find better options. Likewise, those who enjoy this type of experience but do not speak English will miss part of it and will not enjoy it as much as possible. Weigh in at what point you are before launching yourself for him.

Transistor is a short game, but intense and very fun. Its playable proposal hooks and its duration is just so that it does not get heavy, although if your combat system catches you (which is very easy to happen) you will be wanting much more. The narrative is very good and is perfectly integrated into the development of the game, sometimes very evident and other times very subtle. It is an excellent game with few buts and really hard not to recommend. It compensates for its short duration with the intensity and quality of its hours.

We are looking at a somewhat decaffeinated return, but no less fun. Its spin-off condition and the recycling of elements weigh heavily on the final result, being well below the main deliveries. A sensational graphic section and the usual gameplay complete the rest to ensure a good amount of hours of play.

Turok returns to a Nintendo console 22 years after its original release and does so with a remastering with minimal technical changes and no changes in the control, beyond a new gyro control mode that complements and assists traditional control. The game had quality in its day and maintains it, its arcade and frantic gameplay you can see the seams, although this is not an impediment to enjoy it because the game is very fun. Perhaps it is not for everyone and the most modern generations find it too classic and unfriendly, but whoever enjoyed it in its day has no excuse to meet again. The Indian returns home.

Despite having a disproportionate amount of difficulty at times, Escape Doodland is a fairly entertaining game that will appeal to those looking for a fun-looking, skill-based game.

A half gas tribute and little worked on in all senses, with quite questionable technical and design decisions. The fights become quite tedious and it is very easy to break the gameplay with certain techniques. Cinematic scenes made with the minimum effort and a plot that does not get to hook at any time. On the other hand, the selection of fighters is interesting and the techniques are quite spectacular visually. A game to give you a chance when there is nothing else to get your hands on.

Without being a revolution and taking clear references, Reverie Sweet As Edition proposes an adventure focused on action and puzzles along the six dungeons that we will find. A quite pleasant and entertaining game, which sins of having a reduced duration but that fulfills in all its aspects.

The idea of this Fight of Gods, despite being controversial, is at least curious, and why not say it, also interesting. But the execution is not up to scratch, the game is rough and not very dynamic, its input is a bit chaotic, its difficulty is unfair, and its content is scarce, both for fighters and game modes, especially these. The premise is simple, but it is lost in execution, a real shame. And finally the technical section does not accompany, we are not going to ask for miracles, but a little more graphic care would have been appreciated.

Onimusha Warlords is a pretty decent remastering, solving bugs and decisions that didn't sit too well in its day. The new type of control makes the game a little less uphill and with the new resolution it looks pretty good but without the bragging. The new OST is more than decent and has nothing to envy from the old one. If you've never played this saga or want to reminisce about the classic, this is a great opportunity.
