Shadows Awakening is a very interesting role-playing and action game. Although it has the topics of the genre and it can become a bit repetitive, its bet for the change of dimension, the puppets and the directness that results in its proposal not only makes it a very enjoyable title; it is also outlined as a great option for those who want to introduce themselves in the genre with something direct and addictive.

The Inner Friend is a dreamlike walk through a child's mind and way of seeing the world. Its artistic design is impressive and encourages us to keep going through the spectacular levels. It suffers some wear and tear around the middle of the game and has several aspects to improve, but its duration will make us not want to stop until it is finished.

Hyper Light Drifter has arrived at Nintendo Switch with a special edition, which is without doubt the best option for entering the lonely adventure of the Drifter. A new area, objects, 60 fps and the possibility of playing it in a portable way. The work done by Abylight Studios is fantastic and the title is one of the references in the independent field. Essential for adventure lovers.

The Messenger exudes charisma and is wrapped with fantastic control and a development full of surprises, with a difficulty curve that few titles match. In the second half of the game there are somewhat uglier details that do not make the set worse but they do leave a feeling that it could have been a little better.

OSM is a highly recommended title if you want to have a good time enjoying their worlds inspired by famous video game sagas. With a few trilling dialogues and a playable system that although it sins of reiterative and does not know how to introduce all the necessary innovations during its history mode, reserving them for the part after the credits, it offers a devilish difficulty in its difficult mode that will delight the fans of the musical genre.

The proposal of this dungeon crawler with an isometric view and mechanics directly inspired by the works Dark Souls and ICO is striking enough to attract fans of either of these two franchises, although let's not kid ourselves, the game has certain flaws that make it difficult for us. It will make it more difficult than it already is. If you are a fan, especially Dark Souls, it will be worth giving it a try, which in addition to sounding familiar to us, the story will invite us to continue to make the extra effort to overcome those technical and playable pitfalls. If you are not such a fan, better wait for a sale, but big ones.

Megaquarium is one of those titles that will probably go unnoticed by anyone outside the management genre, and it will be really unfair. Being a deep, beautiful and different game, it deserves to be highlighted. Its failures, which exist, are minor and do not detract from the final result.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is an action and exploration game as cool as it was six years ago. Those who have played it before will find no interest in this new version for Switch. New players will find a great little independent gem that I highly recommend if you are attracted to the genre. The lack of extras and some minor performance issues are its only drawbacks that are not enough to not recommend this game.

Immortal Unchained joins the family created by From Software and does so with the intention of considering something capable of offering us a unique nature: combat by means of firearms. An interesting title, capable of frustrating the most experienced and that has good ideas, although not all are well executed. If you like challenges, don't hesitate to give it a try.

Brawlout is a good brawler action game that is enjoyed both solo and accompanied, although a larger cast of characters and more interactive and dynamic settings would have been excellent for the game.

Indie Pogo is very clear about what it wants and knows how to do what it does. The amount of cameos and references to other games becomes one of the biggest claims. It may be sin to have little bit of content compared to other similar games, but with a wide roster of characters and a fun and addictive gameplay, it becomes one of the best options for fans of this genre.

Lifeless Planet comes to Switch four years later with the same proposal, a proposal that can catch you or leave you mildly indifferent. Trying to cover several things, and it does not quite do it well, but at some point it succeeds, and together with a typical but effective mystery plot, it may have you glued to the screen for the five hours that the game can last, because the exploration is not awarded, and the development is more linear than it seems. However if this does not stop us and we know how to see its virtues, the game will be enjoyable.

Thief of Thieves is a great adventure, with a story full of twists and turns that catches on from the first moment and a very striking visual style. The thefts offer a series of decisions and several routes so that it is not repetitive to replay the episodes. The camera plays a very bad trick and has the big slab of not being translated into Spanish. Otherwise, it is a highly recommended game for fans of the genre.

The King's Bird is another indie platform that you have to aim to play at some point. With a different and funny gameplay, a powerful graphic aspect and a spectacular soundtrack, it fulfills in all senses. Make it your own.

Pixel Junk Monsters 2 will please those who enjoyed the first part. Despite its few novelties regarding enemies and towers, it has others that are to be thanked. With a very well measured learning curve and difficulty, it is a very recommended approach for those who want to get into the genre. Besides, it has something that makes it different from the other tower defense titles and that I have not been able to find in any other title of the genre.

Forsaken Remastered becomes the definitive version of Forsaken, either to replay it or to discover it for the first time. A classic capable of surviving the passage of time.

Hello Neighbor starts from a very interesting premise and presents a set of good ideas, but it fails miserably in practically each and every one of them. It lacks greater clarity when explaining its mechanics and, in short, a much more forceful proposal.

CastleStorm comes to Switch after its journey through almost all platforms, with a full version well adapted to the characteristics of the Nintendo hybrid. Although the control of the ballista continues to give war when played traditionally, the game maintains its freshness, its simple concept and its correct learning curve, where we will be taught to play and open up new possibilities little by little. It features a humorous story mode, especially the Vikings campaign, a competitive mode, and a cooperative mode, which make a fairly complete and interesting version. Recommended.

Guacamelee! 2 is an excellent sequel, as entertaining and fun as the first one. Its improved graphic appearance and soundtrack will captivate us very easily. A difficulty adjusted to the millimeter suitable for all types of players, both beginners and experts. It is true that it is inspired by the first part and includes few new features, but it is still a remarkable game that should not be missed.

Deiland tries to play many genres and although she doesn't stand out in many of them, she does manage to become a simple and fun adventure. If your thing is to tend a garden and go on adventures every few days, Deiland is for you, but those who are looking for a survival challenge will not find it.
