Industria blends dated architecture with cold and mysterious futuristic structures. Its gameplay doesn't break the mould but it is well thought out and enjoyable throughout. Fans of FPS and adventure titles will feel right at home playing this unusual game.
Seduction: A Monk's Fate is a dark and eerie puzzle adventure title that'll send shivers down your spine. Its small chapters and logical problems are juxtaposed by QTEs that'll test your reactions. It's an unusual blend of mechanics that works well with the theme.
Bright Memory: Infinite is a wonderfully slick FPS set in a dank, futuristic world. You must explore some real-to-life locations as you uncover an array of long-forgotten secrets. Though the core gameplay isn't so long, there are various play styles to undertake that add to the replay value and longevity.
CyberHive is an excellent but challenging sci-fi title. Its resource management elements and layers of luck will have you cursing every poor choice. However, this makes it moreish and addictive. Sadly, its initial data dump was tough to swallow, but work through it and you'll experience a great title.
Rayland is a deceptive puzzle title that'll suck you in. You'll fly through the opening stages but the introduction of new mechanics and a lack of a hint system will stop you in your tracks. Sadly, though, it doesn't trend new ground, but this matters not. Manipulate the lasers and deliver the energy on every stage.
The Quarry is a fantastic adventure title as well as a cinematic marvel. It'll make you jump and squeal as you uncover the mysteries of Hacketts Quarry. With excellent QTEs and brilliant characters, you'll love every second of this creepy title.
Crypt of the Serpent King is a dungeon crawler that fails to fulfil its potential. Sadly, the action is too easy, the mechanics understated, and it lacks finesse. It should have been fantastic but it lacks a spark and any difficulty.
PowerWash Simulator is a fantastic and oddly satisfying real-to-life title. With many areas to clean, plenty of cash to earn, and new equipment to buy, you are spoilt for choice. Sadly, though, the action is a little repetitive and some minor tweaks will resolve this problem.
Krut: The Mythic Wings is a retro-inspired side-scrolling adventure title. Its simple gameplay is reminiscent of the best Sega Mega Drive games. However, it is disappointingly repetitive and this reduces its potential.
Lumberjack's Dynasty is a simulation title with a heartwarming story. However, this is where the positives end. Sadly, this is one game that is ruined by its many flaws. If the developers overcome many problems, they will somehow turn this into a great title.
Wreckfest is an excellent Destruction Derby-inspired title. Compete solo or with friends in this adrenaline-fuelled and hectic racing game.
Quintus And The Absent Truth is a strange first-person horror adventure title. With loss and companionship at its core, it is emotive and haunting. Explore each chapter and solve puzzles with the help of your mouse friend Quintus. However, you may want to steer clear of the supernatural forces at play.
Tour de France 2022 is a challenging and strategic sports title. With plenty of modes to choose from and difficult races to complete, this will test you. If you can overlook the dated imagery and the unfortunately repetitive audio, you'll experience a great title.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong should have been fantastic, but it wasn't. It has some excellent characters and an array of interesting missions. Somehow, though, it still falls short. With bland conversation and a flat atmosphere, every task is an uphill struggle. It's a real shame as it could, and should have worked well.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a wonderful RPG. A spiritual successor to Suikoden, that will capture your imagination immediately. I loved the plot, the characters, and the modern aesthetics. Sadly, it isn't as original as Suikoden, but it is still worthy of your time.
Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers is a fantastic visual novel. With interesting characters, a vast amount of choices, and wonderful aesthetics, it's a great read. You'll love how the relationships evolve and the freedom to fall in love. What's more, the arcade setting is geeky, fun, and unusual.
Kao the Kangaroo is a classic 3D adventure platformer. Sadly, its reliance on well-trodden mechanics hinders the action. Moreover, there are better examples of the genre. However, its graphics, audio, and variety of environments are fantastic. It's a shame that the rest of the game isn't as inventive or as polished. If they were, this would have been a great game.
Pac-Man Museum + is a Game Pass title that comprises 14 classic Pac-Man games. The developers have tried to bring this much-loved franchise back to life. However, they have only succeeded in creating a padded-out and tired experience.
Deep Diving Adventures is a wonderfully relaxing and interesting diving simulator. Undertake many quests, upgrade your equipment, and avoid every predator. The inclusion of the DLC adds longevity and makes this great value for money.
Thunder Kid II: Null Mission is a wonderful-looking low-poly title. However, it's sadly lacking in most departments. Compared to the original, the sequel takes a backward step.
