Looking for a learning material for JRPG beginners? Dragon Quest Treasures is there for you. Except for the lack of volume compared to the original series, the game offers you a quality time with simple, cute and fun treasure hunting stories.

The latest title in the NFS franchise came back with fresh visuals. While driving on the road without any concerns and making to the top of street racing are always fun, even the lowest 'relaxing' difficulty seems not so relaxing for those who trying to enter the franchise for the first time.

AAA-class SF horror game that appeared after a long time. The lingering story created among people who have turned into bizarre monsters is the attractive element of the game. The battle balance and level design are somewhat disappointing, but it is still a fun enough game.

A game that you can see every experimental feature shown in spin-offs after 8th gen. While neat story and adventure with Pokémon in Paldea region are fun as always, too much lag and bugs are beyond inconvenience. Sometimes they actually keep players away from all the joy.

7.7 / 10.0 - Evil West
Nov 25, 2022

A game that shows efforts to lower the entry barrier of action games. Thanks to the friendly aim assistance, the game enables you to perform great action without difficulty. However, somewhat repetitive combats with same monsters and overall volume of the game, vague main stories are the ones that could have been better.

7.5 / 10.0 - Floodland
Nov 24, 2022

A simulation game focused on the peoples' life, rather than the world destroyed by climate change. Simple UI and tutorials completed with unique art seems suitable for beginners of the genre. However, resource limitations and bugs that sometime feel unreasonable make it difficult to head to the later part of the game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Gungrave G.O.R.E
Nov 22, 2022

An attractive action game that you don't have to worry about reloading the gun. The participation of Yasuhiro Naito, who created the original character design, resulted in an attractive reincarnation of Grave. While the game has various combat gimmicks that spice up the battle, a story that you may not follow if you are not familiar to the original IP and repetitive stage composition may be felt awkward for some players.

7 / 10.0 - Harvestella
Nov 10, 2022

Are you looking for a fantasy life with beautiful scenery and deep stories? 'Harvestella' can be one of your choices only if you are okay with suffering from terrible management system for stamina and time. While the combat system is okay at least, overall motion is somewhat awkward. Also, Insufficient convenience features are enough to make you think the game has a pretty big room for improvement.

7.6 / 10.0 - Sonic Frontiers
Nov 9, 2022

An animated film-like video game for fans of the series. The newly added 'open zone' system turned out to reveal more flaws than advantages, but the franchise's unique, high-speed action is well expressed. While the solid character settings and story for fans stand out, graphics quality that are hard to believe it's out in 2022 need to be improved.

5.9 / 10.0 - Gotham Knights
Nov 8, 2022

A Batman family that couldn't get out of Arkhamverse's shadow. The game design structured around Co-op shows a lack of motivation. So many problems with monotonous combat, empty Gotham city, insufficient hero abilities, optimization issues and so on. A screenshot of Gotham city from photo-mode is the only thing that comforted me.

8.9 / 10.0 - Bayonetta 3
Nov 7, 2022

Bayonetta3 broke anew its own action that had already peaked by previous titles. While refining the existing combat system, the game also tried to expand by adding new elements. The addition of a new element can be felt awkward, but they all fit together as if they were there all along. However, it is hard to believe that this is the title to closes the original saga, especially where it shows the most clumsy story in the entire series.

Nov 4, 2022

Though it is hard to be certain that this is the greatest game of all time, It definitely has its rightful place around the masterpieces. The relatively simple narrative has become more complex but solid, characters' individuality and Santa Monica's directing skills combined to show the best-ever narrative delivery. The level design and combat sequence, which were close to the best, have also been able to take a step further. The one and only drawback to this game is that this is the last of its great saga.

7.5 / 10.0 - Signalis
Nov 3, 2022

Signalis added a bit of freshness by delivering a unique, dark worldview with a classic system familiar to survival horror fans. Though there are some shortcomings that almost all aspects are predictable due to its adaptations from the past, It is certain that the developers wanted this way. For today's generation, it may be an opportunity to find out what kind of horror games their dads usually played.

The game inherits the unique points of its previous series, both in good and bad ways. It is true that you can easily find out several elements were recycled in the map and enemy designs, but doubled volume compared to the previous work and impressive main story line is compensating those issues. While the newly added "closing eyes" function plays an important role in the story, there seems much space for improvement in the actual system.

Is it because of the pressure of showing a better story than the previous work? They ended up with the story line that doesn't even add up and destroyed the plausibility between the characters, rather became a poor story compared to last one. However, high-quality shooting action and photo-realistic graphics that you expect from the series is still there, giving a genuine joy of FPS itself.

7.8 / 10.0 - FIFA 23
Oct 27, 2022

Despite quite a lot of changes, FIFA23 somehow feels much the same to its previous title. However, As the final title that uses the name of FIFA, the game seems like a stepping stone, preparing for the next bright future. By the way, training center for those who are not used to this genre was quite impressive.

A Plague Tail: Requiem portrayed tragic narratives into a game full of immersion. Improved graphics and systems are smoothly combined with the characters' expressions. The story of tragic siblings over the two titles, have successfully concluded.

6.5 / 10.0 - The Last Oricru
Oct 27, 2022

The Last Oricru tried to balance its design between in-depth narratives of CRPG and Souls-like heavy action. On top of that, a world that is a mixture of myth, science and magic is also compelling. However, it becomes frustrating when you realize the shortcomings of Souls-like (no maps, no explanation) and the element of CRPG that every action affect the ending does not make a good synergy.

While the first title was also satisfactory, the evolution of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks Of Hope is even more enjoyable. Strategic depth, world expansion, and hidden elements are all brilliantly implemented in the game. Ubisoft's attempt to depict Nintendo's unique humor was also plausible. This game can be considered as one of the best in many turn-based tactics games out there for Nintendo Switch.

6.3 / 10.0 - Scorn
Oct 20, 2022

Although there is a room for arguments, Scorn's art design seems properly portrayed the original intention of the game. It is also fun to digest the ending as the way you think. However, intuition-dependent puzzles and insufficient combats can make players easily quit the game before ending. The combination of checkpoints and dysfunctional combat is the scariest part of it.
